Cheryl bains

Cheryl Bains is an operatically-trained Soprano and crossover Composer-Performer. Raised in Singapore, Cheryl made her professional debut as a soloist with Orchestra at 14 years old. She is a proud graduate of the Manhattan School of Music, New York, and a mentee of Hollywood jazz Composer-Orchestrator, Ladd McIntosh. Cheryl gave the world premiere of her opera, The Legend of the Goddess, at the Royal Opera House, Mumbai in 2025. Pan-India, Cheryl has performed with the South Asian Symphony, Kolkata Sinfonietta, Indian Air Force Band, and BMW India. She is proud to be affiliated with Steinway India, Furtados Music and The Neemrana Music Foundation.
