Mohini Is a 21 yrs old Bass Guitarist from Mumbai & daughter of musician Joy Dey. She has ,been described as the Most Successful Musician UNDER30 By "Forbes India". Mohini has been working professionally in the music Industry for the past 12 years and is the current Bass Player in A.R. Rahman's Band and has been a part of AR Rahman Band for the past 6 years.
She Has Worked With Artists Like Guthrie Govan (Official) , Steve Vai, Jordan Rudess, Mike Stern, Dean Brown, Marco Minnemann,Gary Willis, Dave Weckl, Tony MacAlpine, Stu Hamm, Quincy Jones, Louiz Banks, Gary Husband, Zakir Hussain, Ranjit Barot, Prasanna, Gergo Borlai, Victor Wooten , Federico Malaman many more artists including some of India's most sought after Salim - Sulaiman, Neeti Mohan, Amit Trivedi, Benny Dayal, Sunidhi-Chauhan, Shreya Ghoshal, Arijit Singh, etc.
Mohini’s Band consists of 2 other amazing Musicians for this line up starting with Darshan Doshi who is a beast on the drums and Guitar virtuoso Rhythm Shaw. They have played with each other and with other musicians in different set ups and line ups for more than 6-7 years. This is the first time that they will be having guests joining us!
