Massively popular on the Indian Internet, AIB’s comedy has a potent mix of wit, video scripts begging for sequels, and next-level self-deprecation. Comedians Tanmay Bhat, Gursimran Khamba, Rohan Joshi and Ashish Shakya came together as a podcast, an act that evolved into India's edgiest comedy collective - making some of the most viewed, shared, and liked video content online. From the Honest series, to the trending news show like On Air With AIB, their YouTube channel now boasts over 3 million subscribers and 375 million views. They’ve also used their platform to launch new music talent, including Ritviz, who’s single on the AIB YouTube channel has garnered more than 13 million views. Apart from bringing a never-before brand of comedy online, they have hosted some of India's most successful and spoken-about comedy events - including the all-day AIB Diwas, the 'tribute' to Bollywood 'Royal Turds', and of course, that Roast. They are now also venturing into longer formats, with Khamba’s Amazon Original show set to release in 2018.

Rohan Joshi is a member of popular comedy collective AIB. As part of AIB, he has been a part of the collective’s ambitious projects such as AIB Knockout (India’s first ever comedy roast), AIB Diwas (a full-day open-air comedy show), On Air with AIB (the satirical news show telecast on primetime television and Hotstar), and AIB Presents Royal Turds (a Bollywood-themed spoof award show). One of the earliest stand-up comics in the country, he was on the Times of India’s list of top ten comedians in India in 2012, with over 250 shows at premier venues in India and internationally. He performs regularly for corporate clients across India. Rohan has co-written the prestigious Filmfare awards. Excitingly for fans, he has returned to the stand-up stage in 2017, and is trying out new material.

Remember the Pretentious Movie Reviews on YouTube? Good. Now forget them. That was just a warm-up to comic Biswa Kalyan Rath’s full comedy prowess. The comedian has moved up a few notches since his YouTube glory days and is using his IIT-Kharagpur education, along with his knowledge of mathematics, language and life, to make jokes that have never been cracked before. He recently released his comedy special, Biswa Mast Aadmi, to rave reviews, with which he toured every pocket in India. Soon after, he released 'Laakhon Mein Ek', a surprisingly dark web-series on the IIT coaching industry. One of the most-followed comedians in the country, Biswa’s angry rant-styled delivery and his unique perspective turns every topic he touches into comedy gold, making audiences crack up instantly. The stand-up comedian, writer, actor, size-zero enthusiast and blogger, has done countless shows across all sorts of venues in the country and has managed to garner 14+ million views on YouTube. Currently, Biswa is part of a panel of judges in Comicstaan, a nine episode series, to mentor and find India’s next comic sensation! Need we say more?

Actor, writer, sketch comedy artiste, improviser and stand-up comedian Sumukhi Suresh is amongst the most exciting talents in the comedy industry. A motormouth Hindi speaking Tamilian; Sumukhi first rose to prominence through YouTube sketches and the mockumentary web series "Better Life Foundation", and subsequently created and starred in the titular role in the acclaimed Amazon Prime Video show "Pushpavalli" with a sequel coming soon! Go Straight Take Left, co-written with comedian Naveen Richard is another feather to her cap of portraying characters with finesse! Notable among the actress' feature film credits is the 2018 Kannada satirical comedy "Humble Politician Nograj".

The man behind the hit social avatar Struggling Actor Vicky Malhotra, Varun Thakur is the latest Internet sensation who has taken over platforms like Snapchat and Facebook with his acidic self-deprecatory humor, making fun of all the CCD-frequenting struggling actors based out of Lokhandwala, Mumbai. Co-founder of SnG Comedy, a popular comedy collective that has amassed 470000 subscribers and 61 million views, the comedian has been selling out shows and venues with his hour-long comedy special, Vicky This Side, Varun That Side. In case reality wasn’t enough for this comic, the show is also streaming on Amazon Prime. Varun has also anchored shows on MTV, MTV Indies, UTV Bindaas and HotStar, and has done corporate shows for Google, Mercedes, HDFC, Standard Chartered, Radio Mirchi and several others. In January 2018, he released a retro horror movie called Shaitaan Haveli on Amazon Video and also went on a USA tour. This October, Varun is going on tour around Australia with fellow comedian Kunal Kamra.

Biswa’s style of comedy can be best described as angry rants bordering on what's socially acceptable. Biswa is a philosopher, a self-proclaimed stand-up comedian, writer, actor, size-zero enthusiast, blogger and an ex-IT professional. His recent Amazon Prime comedy special has been getting rave reviews.
Varun Thakur is regular headliner at comedy events across the country, and has just released an Amazon Prime comedy special. Being a struggling actor from Bombay, he’s rejected on a daily basis by casting directors and rickshawaalas. His latest film was Jab Tak Hai Jaan and despite what’s being said, he’d like to clarify that Katrina and him are just “good friends”. With a good mix of observational humour, high energy and impersonations, he’s an act you shouldn’t miss.
Rohan Joshi is a member of popular comedy collective AIB - you've probably seen him in their sketches and events such as ‘AIB Knockout’, ‘AIB Diwas’ and ‘On Air with AIB’. A top stand-up comedian even before AIB was an idea, he's done hundreds of shows across the world, including at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. As a writer, he has a long-running column in Mid-Day.
Ashish Shakya is a member of AIB and has been a part of the collective's ‘AIB Knockout’, ‘AIB Diwas’ and ‘On Air with AIB’, and sketches. As a standup comedian, he's performed hundreds of shows around the world. He used to author a Hindustan Times column that had a cult following and has co-written ‘The Week That Wasn’t with Cyrus Broacha’ on CNN-IBN for about 250 episodes (!).
