ABOUT THE WALK

Lodhi Garden, arguably Delhi’s favorite garden, was originally a graveyard that was walled up and turned into a garden complex by a British Viceroy’s wife. It boasts of tombs that date back to the15th and16th centuries, and as you walk through the garden, you will be entertained with the lesser- known stories and history of this complex.

ABOUT THE WALK PARTNER

Sunil Raman is a former journalist with the BBC and The Economic Times. He is also a co-author of ‘Delhi Durbar 1911 -The Complete Story’. A complete history buff, Sunil has been a political journalist, is an avid archivist and peppers his talk with anecdotes, stories and nuggets of historic literature that make the heritage walks he takes you on intelligible and accessible for everyone.
