The Devkund Waterfall takes you to a hidden waterfall which feeds a small, blue-ish green pond, amidst the lush green nature of the Sahyadris. This is a relatively easy trek which lets you explore the beautiful scenery of the Western Ghats. The Devkund waterfall is a less explored jewel of nature that gives you an experience of truly connecting with nature.The Devkund waterfall is a hidden gem nestled amidst dense forests of the Tamhini Ghat region of the Western Ghats. Known for its rich biological variety, the area surrounding the waterfall has dense woods, tropical flora and fauna, and clear lakes and streams.The Devkund waterfall lies close to the quaint village of Bhira in Raigad district of Maharashtra. It is approximately 150 km from Mumbai and about 110 kms from Pune. The Devkund Waterfall trek has good accessibility given its proximity to both Lonavala and Pune.Monsoons are the best time to go, which is from June to the end of September. During monsoon the waterfall is in full swing, the pool underneath is at full capacity and the view during these few months is flourishing with rich flora and fauna.However, during heavy rainfall, the place gets flooded many times and the Devkund trek gets shutdown down for a few months when this happens. It is recommended that you check with us on the status of the trek before booking it. Alternatively, this is a very pleasant trek during the winters as well. You will enjoy your trek along the flourishing green trail, against the beautiful waterfall in the refreshing cool air.Try to head out for the Devkund trek early in the morning so you can see the village waking up and enjoy the sounds of nature in the forest. It’s a beautiful experience as you walk through the cacophony of the forest and the smell of tea drifting in the air through the nearby village. You will catch the mist in the forest before it lifts if you leave early. Most importantly, you will be able to enjoy the clear blue pool on your own before other trekkers arrive.Devkund literally means the bathing pond of gods and is considered to be sacred by the locals.The Devkund waterfall is a confluence of three waterfalls and is believed to be the origin of the ferocious Kundalika river. The waterfall is a plunge waterfall as it drops into the pool below directly from an overhanging rock.

Note:

There is no freshen up / washroom / Toilet facility near by Waterfall only Available at Base Village.

Avoid carrying heavy weight for the trek.

Floaters and Sandals are not allowed, please wear sports shoes or trekking shoes of good quality./

Day 1 Saturday

10:00 PM: Report at Borivali national park

10:00 PM – 12:00 AM: Pickups from Malad, Goregaon, Andheri, Bandra, Sion, Chembur, Vashi, Nerul, Kharghar, Kalamboli.

Day 2 Sunday

04:00 AM: Reach Bhira base village by Private transport.

04:30 AM: Refresh Yourself and have breakfast

05:00 AM: Start ascends trek towards Devkund Waterfall

08:00 AM: Reach Waterfall Click picture in the clouds and explore nature beauty & Relax

11:30 AM: Start Back via the same route

02:00 PM: Reach Base Village Get Refresh yourself and Have Yummy Village Food.

04:00 PM: Start return journey towards Mumbai

say goodbye to the haven.

Cancellation Policy: 50 % refund if notified via phone conversation 5 days prior to the event date.

No refund if the cancellation requested is less than 3 days.
