Embark on an exquisite culinary journey to Kashmir at the Kashmiri Food Festival, hosted by the Lalit Chef Sabrinas is celebrated for his mastery of Kashmiri cuisine and his dedication to preserving and sharing traditional recipes Kashmiri food is simple, full of flavours but rich in taste, with ingredients they play beautifully with your taste buds and leave an enhancing experience. Mention Kashmiri food and the few cuisines that you could think of are Dum Aloo, Rogan Josh, Yakhni and Wazwan among others. But trust me, Kashmiri delicacies are much more than that. If you are craving for authentic Kashmiri delicacies, head to the Lalit in Mumbai. Their restaurant Baluchi is hosting Kashmiri Food Festival that gives you a taste of why Kashmir is called the heaven on earth not only in terms of scenery but also in terms of culinary items. There’s a common perception that Kashmiri cuisines are heavier on the non-vegetarian side especially mutton. While the menu in the food festival features a variety of vegetarian dishes which was equally mouthwatering as non- vegetarian dishes.

I had gone to Baluchi at the Lalit Mumbai for NH 24 Rampur to Lucknow food festival. The ambience is top class. The service is just so perfect. In NH4 Rampur to Lucknow festival there are special delicacies Curated by MasterChef Mohd Taj Qureshi. The mocktail which I had were Kairi Panna which was just so authentic in taste. Then had blueberry mint which tasted as required. Starters were Rampuri Seekh Kebab which was so fantastic. Also Athishi Suneri Jhinga was so wonderful. In mains there was Martaban ka Murgh which was so Flavoursome. Then Rampuri Haleem which was so authentic. Then came the Rampuri Gosht Biryani to add on to the amazingness. The dessert Shahi Tukda ended the meal so well. The festival is from 21st May to 31st May 2024 for both Lunch and Dinner. For other details of festival and other menu at Baluchi , lalit Mumbai staff are best people to check with. Had a wonderful time.

Baluchi, nestled in the luxurious confines of The Lalit- Mumbai, has arranged ‘NH24 - Rampur to Lucknow’ food festival from 21st May to 31st May 2024, under the guidance of Master Chef Mr. Taj. We tried some of the signature dishes from Rampur and were delighted with aroma, flavours, taste and presentations. The desserts are unique and surely “ye dil will mange more”. We tried: ❣️Raan-E-Baluchi ❣️Mutton Galouti Kebab ❣️Rampuri Taar Korma ❣️Rampuri Haleem ❣️Rampuri Gosht Biryani ❣️Shahi Tukda Do drop in to enjoy the Royal feast in the Royal ambiance.

This is my 2nd time visit to Baluchi. Recently I went here for my Birthday celebration. Every item was delicious and very well cooked. One of the item we ordered i remembered Bhuna Ghost and the lamb was so well prepared. It was so tender and juicy which was just melted in our mouth. Lovely atmosphere, it takes us back to an old era of rajastani gharana where they made a nice fine dine setup with live Ghazal. The staff here is very polite and courteous. Also a big shoutout to the Baluchi team for making my birthday even better by bringing a really nice chocolate cake to end the night.

With deep regret I would like to give you a feedback about my recent experience at Baluchi restaurant on 24th December 2025 I had chosen to celebrate my wife's birthday at the Baluchi restaurant, The Lalit Mumbai. I placed an order for your signature chicken Tandoori kebab. The Chicken served was not fresh, the Lemon served was rotten & the onions were stinking. I pointed it to the steward who served me the food. But to my astonishment he did not replace the rotten lemon piece and when I asked for the bill he was not even interested to know why am I walking away before the main course being served. The steward was not aware of the full name of your chef some Mr Ali as if to protect his identity. I also went to your 24 x7 restaurant. The staff was not clear about their own buffet rates for the Christmas eve.A lady told me Rs 2999 and another gentleman quoting Rs 3999 + taxes. I am really disappointed at the quality of the food being served in a well established and respected brand like Lalit.I chose to write this to you personally and not posting it on social media because I understand your business. I wish you do a course correction in the service of your Hotel

The food was a ridiculous let down, I’ve been to this place multiple times in the past but this time was the worst experience. We ordered for the mutton kebab which was average, the Nalli Nihari was like having salt straight off the salt pan, we gave out feedback that it was in edible because of the amount of salt and the chefs response was he tasted it. . The only thing we did enjoy was the steam rice that was ordered with the gravy. We just couldn’t digest it. Then we ordered for the chicken tikka which again was a let down.

Most reviews on Zomato are fake. Should have checked google reviews. The food lacked the most basic if flavours, the taste was utterly disappointing, the service was extre slow and everything about this place was just overhyped. Expected so much more from such an expensive restaurant.
