The palm cakes are simply exceptional! Perfectly baked, they boast a soft, moist texture with just the right level of sweetness. The subtle flavors, enhanced by a hint of warm spices like cinnamon and nutmeg make them irresistible.

This has been a place close to my heart, did the takeaway for my parents this time. The taste is fabulous and the presentation is nice as always. Definitely worthy of a try.

First time visiting this place and will surely come back to try their pastries. Popped in at brunch time so opted for a sandwich, fish and chips and a coffee. The sandwich was spicy, before ordering had requested no spice but still the sandwich came spicy. Fish and chips was delicious, it was crispy and the chips were crunchy too. The coffee wasn't wow, but it was drinkable. The interior of the place is very classy and the bathroom is clean. The bakery is linked with the pub so the light shines from the pub into the bakery, as I found the bakery to be low lit in lighting.

This is the bakery shop of the Lalit Great Eastern hotel. Went with high hopes of trying out various pastries and cakes on Christmas Eve but was left disappointed. There were only muffins and a few christmas cakes left. We ordered coffee, Garlic bread and crossaints. Much to our dismay the garlic bread and crossaint arrived an hour late. They were busy baking their own christmas cakes as it was on high demand due to Christmas. Even staff service was extremely poor. Some tables were unclean and none came to offer water. They even didn't allow to make the payment with Swiggy dineout.

Excellent ambience and coffee. The only disappointment was the Veg Puff, extremely low grade margarine which emitted extremely strong & pungent odour.

Honestly I was disappointed, I went there for a quick snack with my Mom, but I was taken aback to find the limited menu with exorbitant prices. Since it's Lalit, so I was expecting a pinch in my pocket, but I was bewildered with the limited menu, which was not even fresh. We simply ordered chicken tikka bun and iced tea. Chicken tikka bun was unnecessarily spicy, which disrupted both of ours appetite. I still don't get it how come it took good forty minutes to get a beverage. And interestingly I ordered iced tea and they bought lemon tea, which I had to return and they took another ten minutes to prepare it. So guys, spend your money well, and don't spend it here.

Being a foodie, every december, just before a week from xmas, I visit New Market for cake shopping. Though I love to explore different cake shops, mostly I stick to few heritage shops like Nahoum's, Saldanha, Imperial etc. However, this year I went Nahoum's but their stock of Rich Fruit cake was finished by then. First I thought to buy cakes from Imperial as I didn't have time to go to Saldanha. However, I was passing by the Great Easter Bakery shop and thought to give it a try as I never bought cakes from it. My expectation was positive as everyone knows Great Eastern is a renowned brand. I ordered a Rich Fruit Cake and they packed it for me. The cake costed me approx 650 rupees which was much higher than all other renowned shop's price. Nahoum's sells rich fruit cake at 450, Imperial approx 400. I thought it's ok because great eastern charges extra as it's a 5 star brand but I was quite sure that they wouldn't compromise in quality. After getting home, I cut the cake and I was shocked! there were some bits and pieces of tutty fruity in the cake and nothing else. it's a plain tea time cake for which I paid 650 rupees!! A 100 rupees cake from New Market is much better than this cake. It's a scam. I'll never ever go to this bakery and I'll suggest everyone to stay away from it.

Dissapointment at its peak. I bought christmas fruit cake and plum cake and some chillk sausage puff. The cakes were worse than cakes of local bakery. it had a very strong egg smell and there were not much fruit inside fruit cake. forget nuts thats non existent. The plum cake should be named masala cake as it was too strong with the cinnamon spice. which made it too bitter. also the quality of ingredients seemed sub standard. The puff were made of dalda or margarine just like the patries at train stations but the filling was good. price is also quite decent but quality pathetic.
