Azad sweets is my favorite restaurant in old city Ahmedabad since my childhood. Their Puri shak and Chana puri are the best 🔥 Started in 1947 and they still taste the same🤌🏻 Do not forget to try Puri shak, chana puri, Dal pakwan and the very rarely available sweet Magji majun whenever you visit🙌🏻

A heritage restaurant of Ahmedabad since 1947. Known for their Puri sabji, dal pakwan and majun and sweets. You can't not find majun anywhere else. Taste was really good. You can't miss their majun. A must visit place if you're coming to Ahmedabad or you're from Ahmedabad.

It was a great experience and a location in old city makes it worth going there. The taste of food is also amazing.good place to hang out in city. Pocket friendly restaurant. I recommend everyone to go there.aloo Puri bazi is a must try.

Very nice Punjabi food...punjab di yaad aa gai...#best Punjabi food in Ahmedabad. Must visit once. Very Near to railway station. Walkable distance.

Azad has a reputation, and it's been known for their Puri-Shak along with sweet side-dish called 'Majun'. For one, the half is sufficient quantity. Costing 90/- for puri-sabji combo and 30/- for 50g Majun Sweet [Personal Fav] along with whole pots of salads, fried chillis, lemons and pickle. Although Shak was sweet, the combination went very well. To go all with this Masala chass was here to rescue. Majun sweet was new to me, I never had anything like that it was just too good for me to just attack on it. A must recommend dish if you order something from this place. This place has 2 branches. One is in zavriwad and the other in the kalupur area. Parking is very difficult, so it's better to have walkaways or park in pols.
