Located in a lane off Relief Road. Beware there is a newer "Azad Sweets" before the original one. Had Puri-Shak, quite good. Pic attached. Meals can be packed (to take on the train for e.g.). Second visit Dec 2019. Had Aloo Methi, Very good, well cooked and tasty. If you are in Ahmedabad and are tired of khaman, dokhla, gujarati thali etx try this place. Pic attached. Third visit Jan 2020, yes I kind of like this place. Had Undhiyu & puri. Quite good, but different from the undhiyu available in Surat. Pic attached. Fourth visit Mar 2020. Had Aloo Bhindi Masala. V good. Bhindi and Aloo were cooked just right, aloo was buttery soft, bhindi was not over cooked. Masala was good, to my taste, not too punjent. Had Shahi Falooda, did not care too much for it. Prefer regular falooda. This one had too much of chopped fruit and the quality of ice cream was not too good. Pics attached as usual. This restaurant is a worth a visit if you are in Ahmedabad.

Old is gold.this place has so many things to order like world best PURI shak,MAGJI majoon, Punjabi platter, rabadi, rasmalai, panner tikka masala, dal pakwan, dal fry,sindhi cuisine, dry fruits,namkins & all types of sweets. Visit once!!!!

This is one of the best place for majum. Literally loved the place. So cosy and welcoming. The food is absolutely delicious and the people are very friendly. The place also serves great sweets along with farsan.

Amazing poori chole at a great price. Time treated and still one of the favourite places to go for poori Shak. Good hygiene is maintained. Recommended to everyone who loves great poori sabji

Eat majum...thats the best best best thing you van ever eat in this old city. + Any random thing at this place is mouth watering. And the sweets are just beautiful.

Good food. Good ambience. Good people. Quick service. Punjabi chhole are a must try. Worth the price. One of the oldest and famous restaurant in Ahmedabad

I had try Samosa yesterday it was awesome and hygienic food a very old and famous restaurant into the old city and it was very popular since my grandfather was teenager he had told me to try this at least once.😊 Samosa 4 / 5 in taste 5 / 5 for service 4 / 5 for hygiene

Best place to eat puri-shak in Ahmedabad. I love the way they make aloo sabji. But they need to improve in chana masala a lot. Because at the price half than them you can get better chana masala anywhere.
