The good - Food, warm service. The bad - Nothing. The ugle - Nothing. P.S. - The most iconic heritage restaurant of Ahmedabad needs no introduction to the locals. Must try food items are fafda, jalebi and khaman. Don't judge them by the ambience, there's a reason why it has a legacy !

I am having their dishes from my childhood and i have tried all of their dishes. Till sate the taste and quality is same. Service is quick. Value for money. Must try their delicious chutney.

The historic restaurant lives up to its reputation. The Fafda Jalebi are amazing to taste with a awesomely prepared Papaya Chutney. The prices are reasonable to the quality offered.

For all jalebi cravings, the place to go to. The perfect crispy yummy jalebis. We also tried the puri sabji, which was delicious cute little puris with the perfectly spiced sabji. There's so much more to try, so waiting for another trip to this little outlet to experiment more from their menu.

The famous food dishes are Fafda-Jalebi but you can try special combo which they serves which includes Fafda, Jalebi, Bhajiya, Puri, 4 types of sabjis [My personal favourite was chole and sev-tameta] Patra, and many more gujarati items which is available till 1:00 PM only so plan accordingly.

I have been to Lal Darwaja Gandhi Road Main branch, you can see all famous face in entrance, they are the one discover combination of fafda and Jalebi. Must Try, Onwer Is very polite.

It started in the 1900s and used to be a 4 storey hotel and was visited by Mahatma Gandhi, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Amitabh bachchan, Raj Kapoor etc. During the godhra riots all the top 3 floors got burnt We ordered fulvadi, paapdi and jalebi and the taste was average like we get in any other gujarati shop.

Not very good. Chai is worst.xhai is overpriced also. Patra is not so good. Khaman is also not good. Jalebi and fafda are okayish
