Loved the food and ambience. Service was great. Highly recommended for North Indian food. Definitely the best North Indian food in Ahmedabad and one of the best dal makhani ever. Special thanks to Kamlesh for being such a good host.

Visited long time back and had a good experience.. food was amazing.. chicken starters were good, still remember the taste.. Loved the ambiance and service.. nice for special occasions

The food was good. A bit overpriced ofcourse. Daal was awesome as usual. Service was extremely slow. The serving staff was very professional, but slow.

sad to write this review ... had such high hopes for this restaurant. went there with family to try the kashmir food festival.. for 10 minutes at least, there was no waiter to be found to take our orders or assist us in ordering!! couple of waiters could be seen zipping across the room from far.. another drawback being the restaurant is divided into two separate rooms... so the limited waiters r either in one room or the other. then on asking a junior waiter to send someone to take orders, the waiter who came to take our order had a heavily running nose...! recommended us couple of veg kebabs which turned out to be very ordinary / bland . one had lotus stem in it ... but probably was totally grounded so couldn't see any .. n tasted very ordinary. dahi kebab turned out to be average - nothing earth shattering to cost 1300 rs per kebab dish!!! non veg kebab recommendation as per the waiter? kasturi kebab... apparently a famous item of the restaurant.. omlette wrapped chicken which seemed a bit under cooked... chef's recommendation? kashmiri haak - apparently the palak was straight from kashmir .. 1200 rs sabji which turned out to be like a home-made desi aloo palak sabji.. and some paneer sabji m dal .. costing 1300 rs ....all very ordinary to ask for such a high price tag.. sad to say but it's a fact - my cook makes tastier palak paneer, dal, paneer sabji... 8200 rs for 3 kebabs 2 sabjis one dal! though there were very few diners, it took a lot of time for them to make food.. reached at 8:30 and were out at 10:40 pm ! and we are very fast eaters! need to step up the ambience, service, the food and lower down the price meanwhile!

It feels that the best days of this glorious restaurant have gone by quite a while ago. Pretty gloomy and torn-down feel of the place with every corner and cutlery screaming for maintenance. It was a huge let down when we visited this place a few weeks ago.
