Hello Foodiez, Florence Restaurant is a newly opened restaurant and it is located above the Pantaloons in Sahitya Icon, New Naroda. We visited it after some Diwali Shopping. My ratings: Ambience- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Location- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Mexican Food - ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Service - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+ Staff Behavior- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Masala Papad - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Broccoli-Almond soup - ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Mexican Hotpot Rice - ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Papdi-chaat - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Butter-Milk- ⭐️⭐️⭐️ (Keep reading for the detailed review) Review: Location: Florence Banquet & Restaurant both are located on the same floor and the restaurant shares its entry with the Banquet (Banquet is Huge and has two entries). It seemed like they are more focused on their Banquet business as it's tricky to locate the restaurant part once you reach at the Florence. One has to cross entire Banquet area from the side to reach upto the restaurant section. Ambience: Overall ambience is impressive including the huge banquet area. Food: (Mexican cuisine) As it is a multi-cuisine restaurant, we wanted to try something apart from the regular punjabi food. We decided to try Mexican Hotpot Rice from their Mexican section of their menu, as its one of my favorite dish and also kinda wanted to check how good their being multi-cuisine claim is! We started with the mandatory Masala Papad which was well prepared and garnished. Papad didn't gave-up in-between and remained eatable even after heavt load of cut-salad on it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Followed by Brocoli-Almond soup which was good in taste but garnishing could have been better. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Then it was the time for the Mexican Hotpot rice (to be honest, I'm a little partial towards the Mexican Hotpot rice from the Tomato's and The Legends of Punjab; however, I was not expecting something like that here). Mexican Hotpot Rice was average with only 3 tacos on the side and a very little gravy. If I had not had it at any other restaurant, I could've rated it good 4 stars (I was not expecting something like Tamoto's or LOP) but it could have been much better overall wise! (1 extra star is for the serving staff) ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Then, we ordered the Papdi-chaat. Papdi-chaat was the showstopper, very well prepared, garnished and delicious. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We ended our dinner with the mandatory Masala Butter milk, which was good but lacked any garnishing. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Service- Very impressed by the service provided by their serving staff. The gentleman assigned to our table was very polite, well behaved and attentive. He served all the food items very well. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I will Definitely visit here again to try their Punjabi cuisine. Until then, keep exploring new places! Good Food Good Mood..!
