Friends Kitchen cuddled right next to the Bopal flyover is definitely a gem in the city. The soothing yet uber cool ambience prompts us to enter the place despite surrounded by ample renowned eating joints. Right from to ambience to genuinely cheerful staff awaiting the guests is a treat to the diners. The exhaustive menu with simplistic approach eases the process of dining food selection. May it be the food preparation or the value of money it perfectly suits the customer demand. Red Thai Curry contained all the flavours and so did the Ma Po Tofu with its aromatic flavours. The Dessert was the highlight of the meal with the Chef's ability to experiment with WaterChestnuts. A true delicacy with the perfect tinge of Rose and Coconut infusion into WaterChestnuts. It’s a great place for all vegetarians who like North Indian, Chinese and Thai cuisines. We had chilli paneer dry as a starter, but my personal favourite is chilli, cheese naan (not listed as a starter). But chef Ramesh, makes it crispy and douses it with coriander and serves it hot and crispy with a delicious mint sauce, and we like it as a starter too.  As we moved on to the main course, we asked the chef to prepare a paneer dish of his choice and a semi dry mixed vegetable. The paneer gravy was nice and creamy and the paneer was succulent. The vegetable was unlike anything you get in Ahmedabad. No sugary sweetness that one finds across the restaurants, with just the spiciness of masalas that steeped into the dish. The quantity of both the dishes was enough for four of us. The naans and rotis were hot and crispy. We finished our main course with steaming hot jeera rice with coriander and a dal fry. Chef recommended Kit Kat Sandwich as our dessert. Now sandwich for dessert was a first one for us and we were not disappointed. The not so sweet, with the crunch of kit kat and the chocolate sauce was a nice creation. The staff is courteous and warm, something we looked forward to each time we visit a restaurant and Chef Ramesh is always there to take your suggestions with a smile. The smell of all the good food is bliss. Forget your worries and just enjoy the food that will be served to you. Missed taking the pictures this time, I will update after my next visit there, because I still need to try out the combo meals and the international fare they serve.
