Happened to visit this place on my recent visit to Ahmedabad, my brother has been a fan since years already and wanted to take me there. Tried few things there- 1. Cheese Sandwich- Bang On! A proper cheese sandwich with loads and loads of cheese. A must try there!! 2. Pav-bhaji- Mesmerizing! Haven't had a better pav bhaji before. Good amount of bhaji is served in a plate. 10/10 3. Cold Coffee- Below Average. I can make better than them 😋. 4. Tava Pulav- Spicy. Full of flavours. Mouth-watering.

I ordered Mysore Masala Dosa in butter. Quality was superb and taste as well. Good thing about this outlet is they are following instructions.im happy with it. Thanks Honest and Zomato for on time delivery

The restaurant is conveniently located near a traffic signal (ambavadi). I came here after recommendation from a Gujarati friend. Seating: Both indoors and Outdoors. Ambience: The restaurant is rather modest one and is always busy with patrons from nearby area (mostly families). Since the seating area is on smaller side, this place is not recommended for groups over 6 people. Food: I ordered Special pav bhaji, Special pulao, Dahi Bataka Puri , paneer butter masala and laccha parantha. I have to say that although I heard great things about the pav bhaji, special pulao pipped it by a great margin. Pulao also derives its tastes from Pav bhaji masala and tons of butter. It is indeed a must try item. Paneer butter masala was full of needless spices and you better skip that. I dare assume that other North Indian gravies would also be loaded with coriander and unnecessary spices. Last but not the least, Dahi Bataka Puri was also top notch item. Coolness of sweetened yoghurt juxtaposed with spiciness of green pudina chutney really gets it going.

My first visit to Honest to taste their famous pav bhaji. Their outlets are all very simple with no frills at all. The focus is on the food. Their menu had a variety of pav bhaji dishes which was confusing what to select to try as a first time diner. Service was decent but could use improvement. All the outlets could use a major uplift on their ambiance, presentation and cleanliness. It’s an iconic restaurant therefore it should live up to the high standards of the tasty food which they serve.

I ordered veg thali. The water they served was bad in taste so ordered a bottled water. Even the bottle water was not sealed and had a weird smell, they clearly reuse the same bottles and charge money for it. The food was poor too. Roti and papad were not cooked properly, rotis didn't seem fresh.
