We had jain dumplings, sandwich and edamame with tofu soup. It was all ok in taste. Best was jelly coffee and fusion coffee. Overall ok. Service was good though.

Visited Itameshi recently and honestly came out with very mixed feelings. The concept of the restaurant is genuinely fresh and exciting, the ambience is beautiful, and there is a lot of potential here — but the execution and service need serious work. We ordered: • Cream Cheese Corn Gyoza with Italian Lemon Pesto • Green Tonkatsu Glazed Edamame Shumai • Pepper Avocado Uramaki Sushi • Pizza Picante • Tiramisu Truffles Starting with the service — it was way below average. One of the servers accidentally knocked over my glass of water, spilling it all over the table. Mistakes happen, but what followed was shocking. He simply picked up the nearly empty glass and walked away without wiping the table, replacing the water, or even acknowledging the inconvenience. Another major issue was that the staff seemed completely unfamiliar with the menu. They couldn’t explain dishes properly, offer recommendations, or answer basic questions about the food. In a restaurant built around such a niche and experimental concept, trained staff are absolutely essential. Coming to the food: The dumplings were extremely underwhelming. Neither the cream cheese corn gyoza nor the glazed edamame shumai had any distinct flavour. You couldn’t taste the corn, the lemon pesto, or even the glazed edamame properly. Everything felt flat and unfinished. The Pizza Picante was actually the highlight of the savoury dishes. Great sauce, nicely balanced flavours, and presented well. However, we had specifically asked for it to be well done, and the staff seemingly misunderstood the request and ended up burning the crust instead. The Pepper Avocado Uramaki Sushi was disappointing yet again. There was barely any pepper flavour, the avocado cutting was poorly done, and the sushi itself wasn’t packed properly. If you are charging around ₹400 for 4 pieces of sushi, the basics need to be executed correctly. And finally, the dessert — the Tiramisu Truffles. This was genuinely one of the strangest desserts I’ve had in a while. Poorly plated and nowhere close to what a tiramisu-inspired dessert should taste like. I’ll definitely be sharing a photo because the presentation itself was bizarre. That said, the restaurant does have something going for it: the ambience and the originality of the concept. The fusion combinations are interesting and different from what most places are attempting right now. But right now, the recipes don’t fully deliver what the menu promises, and the lack of staff training seriously affects the overall experience. With better execution and proper service training, this place could genuinely become something special.

I really loved this restaurant just because you have such great food, but your staff is favoring someone else. Firstly your acs are not working, and they prefer turning it towards just one customer - not sure if he is the owner or a friend of the owner. But then if all customers are not treated nicely, you will end up serving only your so called very bad behaved friends or acquaintances and irresponsible staff called radhe. While typing this review two families have walked out without even ordering !!!!

Very disappointing experience. The food was average, and I had an allergic reaction on my face soon after dinner. I ate the Picante Pizza and Sushi Asparagus. Definitely not worth it when there are far better places in Ahmedabad.
