Amazing ambiance, it was lovely sitting in the garden for breakfast. Late breakfast was available till 11 am. We went on a Sunday morning and easily got a seating available. The menu is written on a blackboard mentioning what's to offer that day. We ended up ordering Dal pakwan, medu wada, lassi (amazing), cold coffee and fresh fruits. After our breakfast we even walked around the garden and met the gardener who was happy to share his knowledge on plants and ayurveda.

Perfect place for a relaxed outdoor dining. Kamala cafe has beautiful ambiance and is very well maintained. There is good greenery here & a crystal clear fish pond. It opens up at 08:00 am, so good for those who have early breakfast. Menu is having limited options of Sindhi, Gujarati & South Indian food. We tried Dal pakwaan, masala dosa, tea & coffee. It is self service over here.

Ambience: peaceful and unique. It delivers soothing experience to soul. It makes you feel close to the nature. This Lush green place can easily steal your heart away. Food: ordered thaali. We fortunately got chance to try kashmiri cuisine and my friend and I truly enjoyed every delicacy and what we loved gorging on was sevai kheer and kahwa. Kahwa was damn good. Flavours of cardamom and saffron created magic. We had great Dinning experience.

We keep visiting Kamala Cafe off and on, since it is close-by and is open-air. Ever since Corona, it has been like a go-to place for us. They offer a limited menu and homely sort of food. Evenings it feel very cozy with dim lighting and greenery around. Our only issue there is the inconsistent food taste and quality, One day it will be really good and the next time around, the same dish won't be upto the mark. Considering they have a limited menu, I think Kamala needs to ensure consistency of taste in their offerings. Also, they serve tea at Rs. 35 in a paper glass from a steel can at breakfast times, it is not just tasteless and lukewarm but worse than canteen tea. Again in breakfast, the idlis they served were cold and tasted like prepared long back. So I do not recommend this place for breakfast at all. They tout themselves as a co-operative but charge market prices and yet so inconsistent with the taste of food. Owing to this inconsistency, now we do not feel like visiting this place. Buck up, Kamala Cafe!

I've been to Kamala more than fifteen times. Anyone looking for an authentic review should definitely check this out. You'll notice that the food tastes erratic; sometimes the sambar is good, and other times it's not. The staff's extreme laziness in setting up change is the most annoying aspect. They kept me waiting until my food was done and every time I asked for change, so I've left four or five times. Aapke paas hai, staff questions back? Knowing that they are unable to provide their customers with 5 to 30 rs of change, I left. The atmosphere is pleasant and the location is truly lovely, but I frequently find that I have to wait a long time for the food, which is fine, but the most annoying thing is that I've already mentioned it. The staff is definitely not taking those points seriously. I finally brought up the same issue of change with them one day, saying, "Aap dekhlo mujhe mere change do." As usual, they were not taking responsibility when they said, "Aapka baat karne ka tarika thik nahi hai."

The breakfast was not ready till 8.45 date Thursday 23 jan 2025 .. poha was just getting washed at 8.30 .. the chutney for the idli has got spoiled I told them to check and give to others still he was serving it .. the sambar was hot and nice so we had with that .. 8 they claim to serve breakfast we had to travel and we had to wait for 30 mins .. the place was getting cleaned at 8.25..so kindly look in to the matter .. the full menu displayed was only on the board and when we ask he says wait like 20 mins .. the first order was served at 8.30 and ours was second order .. since we stay near by and get a feel like home food thought will give you a fair feed back to look in to it .. 🙏thank you
