Many can claim we are Authentic Kerala Restaurant, but the taste of a Malayalee can only be understood by a Malayalee. So here I sit in a restaurant Papilio Buddha and my tongue shouted this is Malayalee taste. We had malabar parotta, house spl chicken curry and Malabari Chicken Biriyani with Sulaimani Tea, we just had it and it's authentic Malabar Taste. Thank you Chef and the Team. I recommend the restaurant. Big Cheers

It was really nice to find this restaurant. So if you have recently come back from Kerala, you might it fair but if you just have the food memories, this will score a cent percent. Subtle, fresh and nice. I had fish, appam & tea… and it was just perfect

This is one of the best South Indian restaurants in Ahmedabad, serving authentic Kerala style dishes. Also, the service is very prompt and courteous. The only thing is the seating capacity, which is very low and congested. We tried: • Thalassery Chicken Biriyani - 5/5 • Pazham Pori with Honey - 5/5 • Kulukki Sharbat - 4/5 • Prawn 65 - 5/5 But I have already gone to this restaurant twice within a month just because of their quality and taste. So, I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a good restaurant serving South Indian style food, especially non-veg in Ahmedabad!

If you’re craving an authentic South Indian taste, this is a great spot. According to a non-vegetarian friend, the non-veg dishes are a must-try, and as a vegetarian, I found my meal to be quite good as well. However, the service was incredibly slow. Our group of 14 were the only customers in the restaurant, yet it took us 1.5 hours to finish lunch. Great food, but be prepared for a long wait

I visited Papilio buddha and had a good expierence. The ambience and seating are very good. It is a small place with a few tables. The staff was good and the service was quick. I had their veg biryani which was good and the quantity too was great (Enough for 2 people). In the end, i had their filter coffee that was great. Overall, I did have a good expierence

Food is good but staff shortage and slow service spoiled the overall experience.

place is small so acoustics is a problem. Food is good, but I wonder if Kerala cuisine has paneer. 7/10

Great ambience and hospitality and super humbleness of staff. However significantly lacking attention to detail on fundamental parts. We had a Simple order of Boneless Chicken ghee roast and malabar paratha With 'BONE' served, and they defended saying only one piece, then we had to show all piece were with bone. Worst was they then tried to bill us for boneless. Taste wise - Ghee roast had great masala but chicken was not tender. Malabar Paratha was good (Note we didn't ask for replacement to boneless as food would have been wasted, and know staff just made honest mistakes; but super disappointed that with just us one of the three customers -no crowd, we still got such a bad experience)

Food was a bit of a miss, since it feels authentic but never tasted authentic. Leaving authenticity out,

After getting confirmation of booking a table through zomato, reached the restaurant but it was closed. Called the restaurant and confirmed it will be open after 16th still it was closed. There is no coordination between zomato and restaurant on availability. NAAM BADE DARSHAN KHOTE Very BAD Experience 👎
