This is a 80year old Homegrown brand that serves delicious, creamy and exotic flavours of Icecream & Gelato that you will surely love as they are definitely high quality made using premium ingredients. It is run by the successor of the Patel family and they know what they are doing as the Icecream Parlour truely blows your mind with all the flavour profiles they have to offer by far the best in Ahmedabad. What I recommend: Raspberry Sorbet - Uff, the sorbet was prolly the best one I have had in town, great balance of sour and tangy and the consistency was perfect. Madagascar Vanilla - The classic go to OG when it comes to Icecreams my personal pick when I get too confused with flavours. Mango Jamun - A combo you may not have seen coming but delightful to the tastebuds, definitely a pick for your parents or elders who always like Natural Fruit Flavours. Ferrero Rocher - The name says it all, if you dif Ferrero then just pick it up! Mausambi Pineapple - A combo that would sound very ‘atrangi’ but was impeccable. Overall, I would definitely rate this place on the Top 5 for Artisnal Icecreams that are true to their claims and decently priced with a cosy place to sit down as well. You have to go and check them out whenever you are out for a Icecream crawl!

This summer, beat the heat with Ratel Icecream☀️ This chic and cute icecream spot located at SBR with stylish walls and uber cool interiors, caught my eye. I had the pleasure of meeting the chef, who informed me that Ratel Icecream is a premium expansion of the legendary Patel Icecream. I swiftly sampled a few of the chef’s recommendations, and here are my top picks: 1. Lotus Biscoff 2. Pineapple Mausambi 3. Ferrero Rocher 4. Blueberry Cheesecake 5. We started with the GenZ-favourite Mango Matcha… Then the bestseller – Mango Jamun! Couldn’t miss the creamy Mango Cheesecake cone… Tried their refreshing Raspberry and Guava Kokum sorbets… And ended with indulgent Mocha Brownie and Orange Brownie gelatos. And we have loved it all! 🥰
