Absolutely loved the food and coffee of this my recommendation are the mix sauce pasta and the Vietnamese coffee although alitte far from my home the place is really of quality here the coffee is reallyyyyyy good the Vietnamese coffee is a must for both newbies and enthusiastic coffee person as it is the perfect combination of sweet and bitter taste of coffee and the mix sauce pasta is also really good. The vibe of the place has 2 areas one is the entrance which is not like high quality but good for sitting in small groups of max 4 and chilling no annoying high volume music and other annoyance. Second is the first floor which is well furnished and very good vibe. Overall the place is good the food is amazing and the coffee is next tier. My personal recommendation to eat and drink are: - Vietnamese coffee (medium roast) - Mix sauce pasta (spaghetti) - Grilled cheese sandwich - Coleslaw sandwich

Having lived in Baroda for two and a half years, I fell in love with the House of CNC—a place that became very close to my heart and set a high bar for what an authentic café should feel like. Moving back to Ahmedabad, it felt nearly impossible to find a spot that wasn't loud and chaotic. Then I stumbled upon The Dark Roast through a Google search, and it was such a breath of fresh air. You genuinely understand what makes a café special. Brewing with Blue Tokai beans makes a noticeable difference—the coffee quality is truly outstanding. Paired with delicious food, a curated collection of books, and calming classical music in the background, the atmosphere you've built is wonderful. Thank you for preserving the charm of a real coffeehouse. Keep up the great work!

Over the last few months, I've become a regular here at TDR. Here are the top few reasons (of many): 1) They probably have one of the best curated music lists I've ever heard at a cafe in Ahmedabad. Beatles, Electric Light Orchestra, Snarky Puppy, Led Zep etc.etc. SO GOOD! 2) Brilliant coffee! I mean, fantastic. 3) They're super chill. You can come in and be creative, work or anything else. The owners love to have you, as long as you're respectful of course. 4) Did I say they had awesome coffee? Thanks for existing guys!

One of the best cafes in Ahmedabad that serves some amazing coffee, this place is a haven for coffee lovers out there. Apart from coffee, they also offer delicious pizzas, pasta, falafel and more. A nice place to hang out with friends over the weekend, there is good music, great food and fun games to enjoy here. Must try: Coffee, Pasta, Hot Chocolate, Basil 🍕

Being an ardent fan of coffee, I am totally in love with this place. The music, the atmosphere, the ‘welcome’ movie painting 😂…its a different vibe altogether. In love with their: -Butter Croissant -Sriracha Cheese Grilled Sandwich -Cappuccino 10/10 -Fries Its a must visit for all the cafe lovers out there.

We recently went to this cute coffee outlet for our meeting. We really loved the quality of the cold coffee that we ordered. It was really tempting and the ambience and service was also good, however we found the quantity lesser as compared to other coffees that we have at the same premium price.

Usually "a great place to hangout" is just that, a great place to hangout. But with The Dark Roast you get the additional benefit of being served the best coffee/hot chocolate in town along with classic rock. What's not to love?

I usually enjoy this cafe—the coffee is great. But this time, the experience was disappointing. I tried their newly launched Grilled Cheese Shokupan, expecting something premium. Instead, it was just a basic grilled sandwich with two slices of NORMAL bread and mozzarella—nothing special at all. Paying ₹420 for something so ordinary felt completely unjustified. It didn’t live up to the expectations or the cafe’s usual standards. Hope they improve this item soon.

. Even after specification given in instruction they didn’t follow. I have diabetes and lactose intolerant they are adding sugar in my coffee and also even after paying extra money for almond milk they gave me in regular milk . And sugar was added in my coffee. Vulnerable place to order. Worst experience ever.
