After being away from Kolkata for so long, I was craving proper Bengali comfort food, and someone recommended Tuli’s to me — honestly, what a blessing 😭 We ordered the chicken dum biryani, shorshe katla, and roshogulla, and everything was so delicious that we had to pack more — fish fry, a dozen sweets, langcha, mishti doi… zero regrets. Every single dish was a 10000/10. Truly an underrated gem that deserves way more hype. If you’re a Bengali student stuck in a hostel or PG and missing home food, this place is basically therapy on a plate 🥹 Must visit!

Bengali dishes are good. If you are bengali or want to taste bengali food then you should try. Bengali biriyani is also good. But the restaurants should take care of the ambience specially the cleanliness of seats and ac quality.

EXCELLENT FOOD! If you are in Ahmedabad and absolutely abhor the non-veg food in the city, go to this restaurant. Authentic Bengali dishes. Simple and understated ambience.

Ambiance: 2/5 Service: 1/5 Taste: 4/5 Shabby Interior, messed up place, very little cleanliness. I have ordered a TULI'S SPECIAL CHICKEN DUM BIRIYANI it had that subtle taste and authenticity that reminds me of Kolkata Biriyani which is very rare to find for in the city. I definitely want to try more dishes here. But the service was awful, impudent behavior by the staff and the most importantly they asked me for 5% GST in a handwritten bill. How can someone charge GST without GST NUMBER? IT Department must look into the matter. ONLY RECOMMENDED IF YOU DON'T HAVE A CHOICE AND YOU CRAVE FOR AUTHENTIC BENGALI RESTAURANT.

Happened to walk in a week ago to satiate some cravings for Bengali food. Disappointment awaited us. We started with a refried barely eggy egg mughlai paratha. Then they topped off this horrid experience with a horrible horrible horrible mutton egg roll which has by count 5 pieces of 5 grams of flavourless mutton with a litre of ketchup. Absolutely horrible till here on. Like, if you can't put mutton specifically cooked for a roll and just have to pull out leftovers from a sabzi, then please do not try to sell a mutton roll. Even after sending it back, they gave the same roll (literally bitten off on one side) with some more flavourless mutton pieces and extra extra ketchup. Which still did not justify the roll at all. This was a new low in which you'll touch a customers food again after it has been partially consumed and send the same back. Restaurant's only saving grace was their fish biryani. Which was a solid 4.5/5. Really flavourful rice and fish, put together beautifully. Overall, a hit or a miss depending on what you order. Not close to what authentic Bengali food should be like. Specially avoid the rolls.

1. The staff is lethargic to say the least. 2. The quantity of the Chicken Biryani is very less and the quality of the Chicken is poor. 3. The fried fish is pure cheating and a scam because there's hardly any fish in there and most of it is the flour. Looks ok but it's deception at its best. 4. The prawn fried rice is another big no as there are hardly any prawns in it. Upon pointing, they gave 5 prawns in a bowl. Overall, a very bad experience. If you're a non-Bengali, you will definitely not like it.

This Restaurant is run by cheats. They served us Rohu in name of Illish. They gave us only 2 pieces of Fish Fry when the order was for 6. The Prawn Fried Rice had raw red chilly powder which made my mom sick. The Kebabs were Cold! The biryani was the only okay thing. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER OR GO TO THIS PLACE! I REPEAT PLEASE DO NOT ORDER OR GO TO THIS PLACE.
