Mr. Azad Jeinisha served very fabulously to us and talked familiarly with us. The food is very fresh and cuisine. Very nice hospitality is maintained by all staff members.

Absolutely pathetic and unacceptable experience at Twisted Roots. This wasn’t just disappointing — it was a complete failure on every level: food quality, service, and basic honesty. We ordered tomato soup, hara bhara kabab, veg sabj ke guchche (promised in brown gravy), and paneer angara (promised in red gravy). The manager himself confirmed everything. Turns out, none of that meant anything. The so-called hara bhara kabab was a joke — not even remotely green, stuffed with cheap mashed aloo, and tasted like a low-effort roadside cutlet. Calling it “hara bhara” is outright misleading. Then came the peak incompetence — after wasting 30+ minutes, the main course was dumped on our table and the staff vanished. Both sabjis looked identical. No explanation, no courtesy. When confronted, the manager casually said “brown gravy is finished” — during lunch hours. That alone shows how poorly the place is run. Instead of fixing THEIR mistake, we were told to either eat both dishes in the same gravy or cancel. That’s not service — that’s arrogance. The paneer sabji was even worse — the gravy kept thickening unnaturally as we ate, clearly stale, reheated, and borderline inedible. When asked to prepare something fresh, the manager bluntly refused and started making excuses. Zero professionalism. Zero accountability. What’s shocking is the complete lack of concern: Serving incorrect dishes without informing Using stale, low-quality gravy Refusing to correct mistakes No apology worth the name Still charging the full bill without shame We literally had to warn them about potential health issues — and they still didn’t care. This place is running on shortcuts, excuses, and complete disregard for customers. If this is their standard, it’s honestly alarming. Avoid this place unless you’re okay being served substandard, possibly stale food with terrible service and zero respect as a customer.

Our experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. The food was pathetic, tasteless, and completely inedible. We ordered tomato basil soup, hara bhara kebab, paneer Angara, pahadi veg ke guchhe, and butter naan. While the soup was just about acceptable, everything else was a disaster. The hara bhara kebab was dry, lacked any freshness, and was nowhere close to being “hara” — it was filled almost entirely with potatoes and had no real flavor. Before ordering the main course, we clearly asked whether the gravies of the paneer and vegetable dishes were different. We were assured that the paneer would be in red gravy and the vegetable dish in brown gravy. However, when the food arrived, both dishes were served in the same red gravy. When we raised this issue, the manager admitted that the brown gravy had “got over” and the cook had simply made both dishes in the same gravy. This explanation was unacceptable. When we questioned why fresh gravy couldn’t be prepared, we were told it takes 2–3 hours as they cook in bulk once in the morning and use it throughout the day. This clearly reflects poor kitchen management and lack of basic service standards. To make matters worse, no effort was made to compensate or offer any discount for this mistake. Additionally, the red gravy itself started thickening and sticking within minutes, making the food even more unappetizing. Overall, the quality of food and service was extremely poor. We strongly do not recommend this place to anyone.

I had one of the worst dining experiences ever at this place. The service was extremely poor - we informed the staff multiple times (3-4 times) that the AC was not working, yet no one took action. When we politely raised the issue again, the manager responded rudely instead of addressing the problem. What made things worse was the manager's completely unprofessional behavior. He told us, "If you want food, sit quietly, otherwise leave." When we decided to step out, the situation got even worse — the staff, manager, and even the owner behaved aggressively. They used abusive language, especially towards women, and even got physically violent. No customer deserves to be treated this way. Such behavior shows a complete lack of respect and safety for guests. I strongly advise everyone to think twice before visiting this restaurant. Basic decency, hospitality, and customer safety seem to mean nothing here.

I recently visited this restaurant on 08 Nov 25 and was quite disappointed with the overall experience. To begin with, the service was extremely poor — we had to call the staff multiple times just to place an order. The team seemed disorganised and untrained, and surprisingly, some of them were not even familiar with their own menu items. The food took unusually long to arrive, and when it finally did, the taste was very average and certainly not worth the high prices. Adding to the disappointment, we even found a hair in the paneer preparation, and instead of sincerely apologising, the staff tried to cover it up by pouring extra gravy over it — an unacceptable and unhygienic practice. Overpriced, Unhygienic and Unprofessional - A complete letdown.
