One of the favourite dish I tried long time back in Mumbai, this dish at Ahmedabad did meet my expectations, this restaurant ( Udipi Jaya Restaurant) is located near Lal Darwaja. . This dosa is not an ordinary dosa it will mixed with spices and ofcourse lot of cheese. Though it did take time to make this dish, but it was worth it. . Jini Dosa as per me would be the most highly recommend and popular Dosas here. REAL FOOD DOESN'T HAVE INGREDIENTS. REAL FOOD IS INGREDIENTS 🙈 eat dosa but don't break anyone bharosa 😁😁😁 so yummy taste ❤️ ❤️ crispy and too soft 💕 worth the ⚖️💰💸 SADA DOSA ❤️❤️❤️ MASALA DOSA 🧡🧡🧡 MYSORE MASALA DOSA 💕💕

As you would know from a lot of other comments as well, the manager is rude, they would refuse for things that any restaurant (or a food outlet ) will happy help. Eg extra podi,

Udipi Jaya Restaurant : As the name suggest, the place serves super and delicious South Indian dishes as well as Gujarati and Punjabi dishes. Location : It is located behind Lal darwaja AMTS bus stop, Bhadra, Ahmedabad. Though there was a rush and We went in group of 9 people for having lunch, they managed for our sitting arrangments very soon. We tried so many dishes there. All the items were tasty and delicious😋😋. Let's have a look what We had there : 1. Banglore masala Dosa :  Banglore masala dosa with red chutney is perfect combination for dosa lover. It was tasty and spicy. The taste of it was totally delectable.👌👌 2. Mysore masala Dosa : We tried it with green chutney which is not good combination to try here.👎👎 3. Paper sada Dosa : Here the paper dosa was very thin and super crunchy. It's very huge which can serve for more than one person and it's a longest form of dosa as well. As it was plane dosa there was not any stuffing in it. 4. Punjabi fix thali : It was imited thali but definitely good enough for a person. It contains 2 punjabi sabji, 4 roti, 2 sweets, dal fry, jeera rice, papad and butter milk. Taste of it was amazing. You will have real punjabi taste in it. 4. Gujarati fix thali : If you are away from home and want to have taste of Gujarati cuisine you, should try for this. It was limited thali containing 2 sabji, 5 chapati, 2 sweets, dal-sambhar, jeera rice, papad and curd. 5. Sweet Lassi : The lassi was fresh and the taste and texture of it was super delicious. It was simple, authentic and chilled. 6. Dry fruits milkshake : It's a rich and thick milkshake that gives you instant energy and best for kids, adults or youngsters. Food : Amazing Service : Pretty quick Ambience : Attractive It's a must try place if you want to have South Indian cuisine.

This small place is good for having South Indian Breakfast. Ambience is minimalist but it's good and satisfying if you know what Udupi restaurants has in Udupi and in that region. The staff is comfortable and friendly. Filter kappi is amazing, so is the podi masala idly and dosai.

Udaipur Jaya has recently opens up their second outlet nr. Manav mandir, gurukul road, memnagar. We have ordered masala dosa and found that manager has made butter dosa w/o asking us whether we want dosa in oil or butter. The quality of food is good but not up to the mark for which udipi restaurant and taste known. The main concern was about staff service. Understood that this outlet is just started so service was poor. No control on order taking and service at table. Sambhar served was not hot and chutney taste was blend. Overall ambience was good but could be better by making service good. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me.

3 star just for food .Service is super worst .Went for Sunday brunch and we were kepts waiting for 30mins for repeat order and still wasn't served. Worst management .

Located in old city. Turns out before they had traditional south Indian items but they removed it from the menu, about 3 yrs ago, and that still shows up in Google. Went there for that, but it wasn't available and there's a new menu. The ice creams in the menu are also not available.

We had planned for a breakfast date at this outlet … after watching Instareel Worst service and hospitality… the manager of the outlet was very unkind n stubborn…. We asked for warm water for droning and he blatantly refused that normal water is available… can’t serve warm water …. On asking why is it not possible … he just saying hum normal water hi serve kartey hai…. Such staff and behaviour surely puts the ratings down …. Not recommend
