We visited with family today. I had worst experience at Udipi Jaya. Inside seats were empty still, not allowed to enter. Due to current hot weather it was not feasible to stand outside. Few children were also with us. After some time, we could enter inside Udipi Jaya. There were 10 family members visited. Later staff were not amicable and not allowing us to seat together. It was very bad experience and not at all good way to welcome customers. They were rude and also food quality and taste is not upto mark.the Mysore masala dosa taste was like masala dosa. Sambar was not hot, everytime we need to insist to serve chatni So overall it is very bad experience in term of welcoming, seating and food quality. I would not recommend to visit and have dine experience at Udipi Jaya. Not happy and not worth

Can you believe dosa prices at this place?? They are charging more than 300Rs for maysore type masala dosa. Over priced and over hyped. Cannot recommend anyone.

Size of Dosa is lesser than Sankalp is serving, chutneys are also less in variety, crispness was good.

The worst service I have seen in Ahmedabad, they don’t even know how to bring food from the kitchen. Brings butter milk and coffee first before food. Brings wada at the end post we had our dosa. No sense of talking to customers, no sense of giving waiting time to people standing outside, the prices are more than best South Indian places of Ahmedabad. Hygiene is very poor, the staff is clueless what to do.

Our first experience at this place was not so good.. Temrind rice and has more masala/salt. This was when the restaurant was newly opened (about 1 month or so). After long time We went this place with not so high expectations . However, It was very good experience.. we ordered 1) Lemon rice with rasam: was good in raste and Dasam was awesome. It feel like Rasam quantity was less. 2) Jini dosa: was good 3) Masala Dosa: awas very good and tasted like authentic one.. Can say that it was one of best in Ahmedabad. Overall good experience and this place will be on our list for South Indian cuisine.
