Very good restaurant. Tried hara bhara kabab, dal makhani and jeera rice. Everything was fantastic, quality and quantity both. loved the taste.

I went here twice once with friends and once with Family. The food was good the only issue is this is a mix (veg + non veg restaurant) so if the sightings can be adjusted a bit then it would be great. And the food taste was better on the first visit then in the second one.

Visited this place for the first time today. The food here is tasteful but the authenticity is lacking in every sense. The mutton burra is a thorough dry mughlai delicacy cooked in clay oven but here it was served as a gravy item and it was listed in starters.

Very average food, the golden prawns were frozen and undercooked, even after pointing that out they returned with uncooked prawns. Underwhelming experience overall.

I recently dined at Umami Restaurant and, unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. The service was notably poor from start to finish. The staff seemed disorganized, and to top it off, they completely missed one of our orders, which was frustrating and disrupted the flow of the meal. When we brought it to their attention, the response was lukewarm at best, with little effort to rectify the situation promptly. The food itself was a letdown, especially the mutton dishes. Every mutton item we tried was below par—lacking flavor, poorly cooked, and far from what I’d expect from a place with "umami" in its name. It’s possible the kitchen was having an off day, but that doesn’t excuse the overall lackluster quality. To add to the disappointment, none of the water or aerated drinks were chilled. Their solution? Toss some ice into the glass. It felt like a lazy workaround rather than a proper fix, and it didn’t improve the experience. While I’m willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and chalk up the subpar food to a bad day, the service needs serious improvement. Attention to detail, responsiveness, and basic hospitality were sorely missing. I hope they step up their game, but based on this visit, I’d hesitate to return anytime soon.
