So we came with good expectation to Vaani because of 4.7 rating but coming here was big disappointment. First starting with waiting area- well there is no separate space for waiting people… and it becomes so awkward for everyone- for people coming in through the door and for you to sit in front of them eating… Second the AC was not working at all. I was literally sweating from every part of my body which ruined eating experience fully. Third coming to the food- it was not authentic south indian. Its toooooo mild. Like is it for kids only or what? We ordered thatte idli, benne dosa and bisibele bath. We literally swallowed everything with sambhar. It was the only good thing. Everything else was sooo damn mild. The reviews stated chutneys are good but really they are not. We have been to many south Indian restaurants in Ahmedabad and this was not south indian taste! Not sure if this restaurant is only good for their thaali as most of the table ordered it. I am literally shocked how they got 4.7 ratings. Maybe the chef was changed as i just noticed one more similar latest review. If you really are true south indian food fan like us, its NOT WORTH it at all.

The food was very bad. It was not at all authentic. There was no south Indian touch there in the food. We ordered for Thali which had a sabji which was already was getting stale we informed the staff but they didn't respond. One of the staff told us that he had informed his head. We saw that they were still serving the same Sabji to others too. Very bad experience we will never ever visit that VANI restaurant again.

worst food worst quality . chutney was stale and had gotten rotten. uttapa worst in taste..never visit or order food from this restaurant again
