Dining Experience, rather than Dining. Entry includes " Experiences " like Rajasthan Dance , Puppet show , Swings , ethnic decor, pottery - live ( the Potter is In house ,and actually makes the Cups & Khullers for Vishalla) . Sit out ,shopping- albeit at 2x-3x market rate ! Dining - upon entry Go to Pre Dining area ,find a supervisor, see that he enters your name + total members ) + Give the Seating requirements- Chair sitting/ Sr Citizen/ Floor Sitting/ Family area ... ) when your Guest name gets called - follow the supervisor to your Sitting.. and Volia starts your ' eating trip' .. classic Gujarati Food ( VEG ONLY) . with the serving guys urging you On ( ' aapu' - shall I put on plate ) .. Unlimited food , have the item of your choice served N times !! you don't like something Simply taste 1 time ,and the on Say No - very politely.. the Serving staff are very Fast but very Polite !! all Plates & cups are Leaf utensils, spoons are 1 time use thin wood .. Natural food in Nature Environment. there would be 36+ individual items of food, condiments, pickles, salads ... main dishes.. and desserts do get the lemonade or Drink of the day at the Dance arena ! at the exit add up the Kharake + Ice cream ( dish) all items are Unlimited. the Paan is charged extra at 50 rs minimum. if you have time add a visit ( extra entry fee + camera fee) to the Utensils Museum! We have visited this place Several times an Iconic and (To do ) for Ahmedabad visitors!! 5 stars . keep Going 👏

Unfortunately, this was my first ever visit to Vishalla. I wanted to visit this place since ever, but until a few years ago frankly say I couldn’t afford to visit this place. Finally, the day came when I visited the legendary restaurant of Ahmedabad in May, 2025 on the occasion of my parents wedding anniversary. The place has been here and serving authentic food, and also luring locals and outsiders people for many years now. This was my first visit, and I was extremely curious about my experience and it fulfilled my all the expectations. The dinner meal is unlimited and also includes utensils museum entry ticket and other cultural activities. Food was excellent as it was expected.

We visited here after a long time. I understand it’s a village theme but certain areas are just too dark. Wish at least walkway is better lit. Washrooms are not well maintained. Saw few celebrities due to filmfare thought they would feel yuck if had to use washrooms

Went to vishalla restaurant yesterday . It was my first visit to Ahmedabad and my friend who loves there took me there . Ambience was superb- very different from what I have seen ever. But the food was very below average. Nothing extraordinary. The curries had no taste and items were more in quantity but rarely anything was palatable. Jalebis were cold and stale.

If u r goin there for the food than its extremely bland. No flavour . Only the condiments were a hit amongst us otherwise the taste of everything else including the subzis, farsaan was a total disappointment. Not coming back agin by choice. For sure.

We had taken snacks but not of great quality, it was okay even today service was not upto the mark, not advisable to visit for snacks, for thali you can try as we had not tried for the same 🙏🏻

Absolutely WORTHLESS. We were made to sit for over an hour before they served food. So if you are hungry then avoid the place by all means. There were hardly a few tables and the place seemed overstaffed, yet, over an hour wait. The staff ain't bothered to attend or serve. They served absolutely nothing for over an hour. That too after having paid in advance. I realised they give priority to Gujarati people, those who were speaking Gujarati were served first. Oh and I was not even given a bill coz I paid through Zomato. For bill I was asked to pay directly. It is more of a tourist gimmick. Food is highly overpriced for what is served. Honest advice, unless you have endless time to wait and waste and Vishalla is the last place open for food, AVOID!!!

*Non Gujarati Review* I wanted to try something authentic, I selected this place based on the ratings. I didn't like the food at all. I don't understand why they had put so many snacks/salads which is completely waste as I saw hardly anyone finished all of them. It's just waste of food . Coming to food , none of the items were good in taste. Not sure why they have such high rating.

They have a reserved area for thali. Either you pay entry fee or have thali to access that area. You cannot access it if you have ordered al-a-carte. So if you are in group and only few have ordered thali and others have ordered al-a-carte, others will only be allowed if you pay entry fee for each person.. sounds like a tourist destination rather than restaurant

Even after booking through zomato, vishala denied to take payment through zomato portal, false information about vishala on zomato app for dining
