Barawan Da Dhaba, located in close proximity to Golden Temple in Amritsar. The restaurant's prime location near the Golden Temple makes it easily accessible for tourists. If you are visiting golden temple most of the cabs/Auto will drop you in front of this restaurant only The star of the show here is undoubtedly the kulcha. The kulcha served with chola and raita is a heavenly combination. The kulcha, being a specialty, is a must-try and doesn't disappoint. We also tried the makki ki roti and sarson da saag, it was good too. The service can be improved , we waited for 2 cups of tea for almost 30 mins then had to cancel. Barawan Da Dhaba is an old, beloved joint that has stood the test of time. Despite the slow service, it continues to draw crowds with its delectable Punjabi fare. For a taste of Amritsari culinary traditions, especially the kulcha, and the vibrant atmosphere, it's a worthy stop for anyone visiting the Golden Temple area.

Ambiance: 3/5 Service: 3.5/5 Food: 3.5/5 i. Accessibility It is very much visible from the lane as it has good presence in the area and quiet popular also. So finding the place won't be a hassle. ii. Ambiance It's kind of decent ambiance. Nothing fancy. iii. Service As soon as we reached waiter was there to attend us. The place was bit crowded but still we were able to get a table. Overall the service was good. iv. Food We had ordered thali in that we got Tandoori roti Chole Paneer sabzi Dal Rice Curd The taste was decent. They can do better. In sweet we got gulab jamun. They were awesome 👌 Overall I would say it is a decent place. I will surely visit again.

Went to this restaurant based on the recommendation by Zomato. Expected better. The dal makhani was barely passable. The baigan bharta was OK. The sarson saag and makki ki roti was good, as was the onion paratha. Portion size is good. A point to note is that the prices mentioned on the menu shown on Zomato do not reflect the same as the menu in the restaurant. We ordered the following 1 dahi bhala 1 dal makhani 1 sarson saag 1 baigan bharta 2 makki roti 1 onion paratha 1 lassi 1 phirni 1 salad Our bill came close to 1500/

Really disappointing and disturbing experience. I found a cockroach in my food, which clearly shows a lack of basic hygiene and food safety standards. I immediately informed the staff. Incidents like this are not minor mistakes, they pose a serious health risk. Expect much better from a restaurant. Definitely not visiting again.

worst place, it's a pure waste of money. totally hyped place. lacks cleanliness and even basic food standards. please do not visit this place and waste your money, service is very slow and cost is very high and cannot be justified

Just one word- OVER HYPED,OVER HYPED,OVER HYPED. Worst quality food i ever had not worth it. People go crazy seeing the name of restaurant but the food is not up to the markkkkk.

Extremely pathetic food and staff behaviour. Provided management the feedback who took it as very normal and doesn’t want to believe the poor state of its restaurant.

Over hyped. Much better food in Civil Lines in Gurgaon. Don’t give basic stuff with food & you have to ask it. Better avoid it
