This is said to be the oldest lassi shop in town, and research suggests it is a must-try place. I visited in August during the heat and had a half-glass of regular lassi. I must say it was incredibly refreshing and worth the 35 Rs. It wasn’t artificially sweetened like the lassis you find in stores. It tasted natural and just right. A must-try in Amritsar.

Ordered Special Lassi and Mawa Lassi. Different size of glasses are available. Price is affordable. Service was quick. Quality of Lassi was very thick like it should be. 1 glass is enough to make you full.

The place is operational since more than 100 years and serves amazing punjabi and peda lassis makhan maarke. The portion size is good and the lassi consistency is also nice. Cost - 80 bucks per glass

Had a great experience at this place. Totally loved the lassi. The quantity was super, prices are also decent. Must try when in Amritsar!

Not your usual lassi... This one’s quite different indeed... I had their famous Peda Lassi... They crumble the peda and blend it with yogurt to create this smooth, creamy goodness... I noticed right away how this lassi had a milder sweetness compared to other lassis I am used to... Another thing that really stood out for me was the creamy dollop of malai on top... It was rich, had great texture and the perfect thickness... This century-old lassi spot has given me a taste of history 😀

Gian di Lassi is a popular lassi shop in the city that has been in business for over 100 years. The shop is known for its fresh and delicious lassis, which are made with milk, yogurt, butter and cream.

The lassi served here is very tasty....but try to avoid the Peda lassi as it is very heavy and not very special....the normal lassi is a must for everyone......

Planned to visit this place since it was recommended in Amritsar. But to my disappointment owner was very rude. I might be new face to him and hence he did not serve my order but gave only 3 peda lassi left to the customers who came after me. I asked for multiple times still they were avoiding me like I am alien They do serve only whom they want to (possibly locals only). tourists are given least preference. Highly disappointed with the behaviour Did not get any lassi but only rude behaviour from the owner

Such an overhyped lassi.. I think the people who make tons of tareef od lassi never had a gud lassi. Such an overpriced and overhyped lassi..it was like any other lassi..nothing special in this pede waali lassi. Please don't get misguided by v bloggers and go to this patli gali for the lassi taste which u can get anywhere.
