One of my favourite place for fine dining whixh brings lip smacking multi cuisine food that too at nominal rates. This place is a beauty in itself with lush green ambience all around. The vibe is artsy with a serene aura. I ordered crispy corn tikkis which are perfect for an evening snack and will perfectly melt in your mouth. The next thing I had was Brocolli and almond soup, broccoli is my favourite and almonds are toasted to bring out it's complete flavour and to add crunch too. In maincourse I ordered khata paneer do pyaza consisting of sliced onions with spices and crushed tomatoes, which compliments the soft and creamy taste of paneer. It tasted best when paired with any Indian bread. The chocolate pastry is like every chocoholic's dream come true.

Amritsar is known for its Amritsari kulchas and no one can deny it. and when we think of kulchas the name that comes to mind are Kulwant, Ram patty or pehlwan but trust me being travelling to Amritsar for last 20 years never had this good kulchas. though all the food is top notch but the kulchas are mind blowing. I know it's not normal to visit taj for eating kulcha but if you can you will really feel it is worth. kulchas are crispy small filling and every one here is so welcoming TAJ IS TAJ FOR A REASON AND SPECIAL THANKS TO CHEJ AJAY FOR MAKING OUR ANNIVERSARY MEMORABLE BY SERVING US. BEST EXPERIENCE

Breakfast buffet is fantastic. Perfect start to a day full of sightseeing if you are a tourist. Won't need another meal till late afternoon 😊 The on demand Amritsari Kulcha with assortment of pickles is the star of the show. The staff are really helpful. Had tummy upset on one of the days and their suggestion of baked yoghurt was the perfect cure.

Was part of an event at Taj Swarna. A great place to enjoy the elite treatment, high level of sophiestication, authentic amritsari tasty food and a great ambiance. We tried several food items with variety of salads, chicken, mutton and kulchas etc. Malpuaa with Rabdi and Rasmalai was the best. A must visit place.

Excellent offerings and tasty treats overall. The breakfast buffet is superb, having a wide range of Indian and Continental breakfasts. The French toast was worth returning for. They also have a number of dishes for dinner which are healthy, yet appetizing (a rare combination).

When it comes to service, we all know taj has always been everyone's favorite. I'm glad that this one hotel came to amritsar. I wanted a family dinner for four here and the easy online reservations made it hustle free for me. We reached there on time and had to wait just for 5 mins for the table to be ready. The jolly and helpful staff, quick service, full attention towards the customer and live singing made our evening even more special. It was my parent's anniversary and I'm happy I chose taj. We ordered paneer tikka with beer and soups and starters. Butter chicken, daal makhani, laccha parantha, butter naan and garlic naana as the main course and bull's eye and kesari rasmalayi for desserts. I must say (I wouldn't have said that for any other restaurant), it was just perfect. I just found daal makhani to be a little too buttery but considering the fact that it's Punjab, we let it go. Extremely tasty food and way cheaper than my expectations. Highly recommended

Breakfast at Taj Swarna, Amritsar is always a feasting delight. While offering a breakfast spread with multiple dishes options might be possible for many 5 stars but ensuring that each one of these tastes mouthwatering delicious is extremely rare. Each guest's taste preference is noted and remembered. I'm extremely fussy about my coffee and I was surprisingly delighted when our server not only executes my coffee perfectly but also remembered it for next morning. Special thanks for Chef Rachpal for taking care of cooking our dishes as per our preferred taste. Simply Brilliant Breakfast.

I visited this place multiple times and everytime I faced some or other issue with them. For delivery..no chance of ordering as their menu itself is wrong on site. They uploaded Menu of Taj ...but of different city one. Coming to Ambience. I didn't felt like it's Taj . I have been to Taj hotel other branches in Bangalore etc. But this is the worst I have found in ambience. No proper greenery outside to sit. No good sitting arrangement to sit outside. Just few tables and chairs lying around. Coming to dining area. If you are going with family then forget to sit together. They have coffee tables and small tables only on which only 2-4 person can sit together. If you are more then 4 then you have to sit separately. As per them their policy don't allow to merge tables as per request. Seriously?? Coming to service. Worst service I have seen till now in Taj is here only. They comes and wants to take complete order at once itself including soups, dinner , etc. Even if you place order at once. Then also they are not able to handle. They will give you Soup. And then after 5 min they will give drinks which you ordered with lunch/dinner which is supposed to be given with food. And if they give together all items then they miss something to bring. And when you scold then they give you two instead of 1 or make it free. Such compensation makes sense if it happens rarely. But if again and again happens then something is wrong. If you don't care about all this and just came to enjoy good food. Then only this place is for you. But really for just good food without good ambience? Would you like to go ? Still if you think you want just good tasty hygienic food. Then this place is good to go for you. We ordered multiple items here in food. And all items were upto marked. Cook here is really good. Loved each and every item. Some of the items we tried are :- Amritsari Chole Kulche Chole Bature Pao Bhaji Cold Coffee Lassi Kulfa Proper food with roti sabji. We tried only Veg Items as we are vegetarian so can't say about Non veg. But I feel non veg also must be good here. No complaints on quantity and quality of food. All great. Coming to billing. That was another nightmare. As I am Tata employee , so I asked to apply 20% discount as TIC member. But they don't know how to do. And took half hour just in billing. Ya last time we went to celebrate birthday. We didn't expect as per last experience that they will serve cake from their side as all good hotels do. So we took our own cake. And which serving Birthday cake they didn't even bother to Clap or sing. Even they didn't wish birthday to my dad. Even pics they took when they asked them 2 times. After this experience we were done. Never going to visit this place again. Even not going to recommend Taj Amritsar to anyone. I feel ashamed on myself that my company hotel is not maintaining it's reputation. Tata to TATA Amritsar Hotel.

Worst place spl restaurant and thier staff. i been to this place today for dinner. Unfortunately I had selected taj. When I reached one of the staff said that we take the last order at 9 p.m and then I had requested her but she denied. Then I request at the reception they said it 8.30 p.m and they took me to the Restaurant manager he said it is 8.15pm after that we didn't take any order. Then I had said him kindly stick at 1 time and did not make it that we took the last dinner order 8am. If you think to visit this place for dinner then please ready to face idiots. We are paying for their services and we beg for that as we are free bee. I never been to this place again in future

I was there with family and made a prior reservation for birthday celebration and a cake cutting. First of all, they took 45 mins to give one Dal Makhni and Butter naan. The service was so slow and pathetic. Secondly, they confirmed that a cake was on the way and after we finished our meal, they kept us waiting for 20 mins and got the bill. They spoiled our mood of celebration by slow service and the behaviour of the staff
