hi foodies . had lunch today at Kesar the Dhaba,. it's really worth visiting,. being a delhite we had already checked out many varieties of parantha,.. kulcha etc,.. but here their paratha is like LaCha parantha and Dal fry is not that regular yellow dal fry, it's Dal makhni with desi ghee ka tadka,.. the smell of desi ghee is all around,.. really really tasty and different,.. must try,.. I had palak paneer,. Dal fry . chana masala with 3 different types of parantha all were great,.. 10/10

Visited this highly recommended place maneuvering through the narrow lanes, which is a task in itself. The food did justice to the efforts though.Had Dal fry (Dal Makhani ) and Paratha along with Lassi, each delicious and mouthwatering. The service can get tad bit slow at times.

Kesar Da Dhaba is really a great pure veg restaurant which serves great food with amazing taste at proper prices. Shahi Paneer, Dal Makhani, Mutter Pulao n varities of parathas are some of their must have dishes. Quantity n quality is top class You will forget the brothers n others after visiting this place.

The service staff are very friendly. The place is budget friendly. I tried the Paneer Palak, Ajwain Paratha, Firni and Lassi. The Paneer Palak and Paratha were okay. So was the lassi. The Firni was amazing. Subtle sweet and the perfect palate cleanser. Value for money!

Totally overhyped. I am on a solo trip to amritsar. on my first day I went to kesar da dhaba and tried dal makhani, chana masala, plan paratha thali. food was more than for one person. I could not finish it. but the taste was pretty average. There was only the taste of ghee and daal was pretty average. Chana masala was the worst. please rename it to Chana feeka as it was lacking spices. if you want to try thali try it in 2, to avoid food wastage.

very very disappointing experience and not worth the hype at all. This was my second visit here and I have been extremely disappointed both the times. They give out coupons for waiting and treat you like they are doing you a favour by allowing you to wait. and when you enter after waiting for more than 30 mins, half of the items are over in the menu. and yiu have to manage it with the leftovers, again as if they are doing a favour on you. if you can't manage your kitchen, stop giving out coupons or let people know what all is available before you give out coupons so that they are not cheated. pathetic service. Will not recommend to anyone. don't waste your time on this entitled place

very hope less as we reached near the entrance a person shouted in front of many customers no need to come here his tone is so rough as we are beggars all the customers gave mischief smile to us we came from delhi and after Darshan of shri darbar shaib we plan to have dinner but rude staff attitude spoils our mood then we had dinner at Two brothers restaurant with much respect and dignity pls take in mind you are famous only because of us

The most over hyped place in Amritsar with the worst item ‘Dal’ being called their specialty, the palak paneer was tasty though, but this place was not worth the hassle. Maybe the food was good in the earlier days, but it isn’t now. Seems they ask for fake reviews.
