Extremely Disappointing Experience – Not Worth Visiting I had one of the worst dining experiences at Le Méridien Amritsar during a dinner buffet, and I feel compelled to share this so others can make an informed decision. From the moment we entered, the staff was not welcoming at all. There was absolutely no warmth, no courtesy, and no basic hospitality that one expects from a hotel of this stature. The buffet spread was shockingly limited, with very few options, and the food quality was extremely poor. Honestly, it did not match even an average restaurant in the city, let alone a so-called luxury hotel. Service was almost non-existent. No one attended to us properly, and the staff appeared completely unprofessional and non-cooperative. To make matters worse, a lady at the restaurant front desk came to ask for my name and phone number. When I asked her a simple question — “Do you know the name of the restaurant you are serving in?” — she said she would confirm and get back to me. I stood there waiting, and no one ever came back. It was shocking to see that the front desk staff doesn’t even know the name of their own restaurant. The buffet manager told me, “If you need anything, just ask me.” But throughout the entire meal, he was nowhere to be found. If a manager is not visible or approachable, how is a guest supposed to communicate their needs? The ambience was dull, the hospitality was pathetic, and the overall experience was frustrating and disappointing. The worst part came when we were leaving. My two small kids were crying, and I requested the valet to bring my car. We waited 20–30 minutes, and no one responded properly. I had to raise my voice out of sheer helplessness and request them to either bring my car immediately or give me the keys so I could drive myself, as I could not see my children suffer anymore. This situation was completely unacceptable and insensitive. Overall, this place lacks basic hospitality, professionalism, service quality, and empathy. I strongly recommend that anyone planning to dine here should avoid this place completely. Amritsar has many, many better options with superior food, service, and respect for guests. This was a very bad experience, and I left feeling frustrated and disappointed.

Poor Service , Staff is under informed and very casual , food was below average. They always make up excuses when it comes to redeeming membership points. I got up and left in the middle of my birthday dinner. It was that bad of an experience. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I hope they go in loss and get taken over by some other hotel as they are a waste of space.
