Hands down the best fish fry I’ve ever had. You just can’t do without re-ordering the Amritsari Fish Fry. The chicken tikka here is the best you’ll ever have. The juicy and flavourful chicken was mind-blowing. The ambiance was superb and the people were extremely hospitable. Do stop by and have a chat with the owner to know his story. I know for a fact where I’ll be having majority of my meals the next time I’m in Amritsar…

We started with the "Fish Sangara," a freshwater fish that was amazingly good and highly recommended. For drinks, we had lime soda, which was good but was served in a plastic disposable glass (not sure why). The main course, mutton biryani, was a huge disappointment. It was overly colored, the mutton was fried and tasted chewy and old. Additionally, there was no curd or raita with the biryani.

A very old and famous outlet in Amritsar famous for it's mouth watering friend fish. Though they have made a good restaurant, it still has that dhabha food feel. Friend fish and tawa chicken are must haves... Sadly the quality of vegetarian items is not up to mark but taste of no veg makes up for everything.

A dear friend of mine took me to dinner at this place with highly recommending the food and praising the popularity of the joint. The place was packed with lots of people even on a Thursday night. Though we did managed to get a table. The overall ambiance was basic and neat; nothing fancy or a fine dine like. The seats were comfortable and the place was nicely lit. The service was the part where they failed to impress,that too with a huge amount. The service was among the worst I have experienced. The servers were ignorant and least attentive to their guest. No recommendation, suggestions and even the courtsey to take the order. You need to locate the server attending your table call him and he only will assist you further. Food We tried fried fish sanghara, tandoori chicken, mutton Tikka, mutton Rogan Josh, Dal Makhani, tandoori mushroom Tikka. Fried fish was pretty decent and taste like a Desi version of fish orly which we get usually. The only difference was that,the fish skin was still on it. For me in my personal opinion it was about decent. I prefer the fish without skin when fried or else it becomes too much oily. Mutton Tikka was simply amazing and tasted really good. The mild flavor of Desi ghee simply enhanced the overall taste. The dish took good 25 minutes to get served but it was worth the wait. The mutton was perfectly cooked and the spices we're just well balanced and perfect. Tandoori chicken was decent and was cooked just about fine but could have been better in terms of flavors in the marinate. The overall taste was fine but could have been more tangy/spicy n a bit more tender. Mushroom tikka was good and we're marinated well. The overall flavor was pretty decent; the pieces were tender and tasted fresh. Dal Makhani was really good and creamy. Dal was cooked perfectly with well balanced spices and creaminess. Mutton Rogan Josh was simply amazing. The mustton was so we'll cooked that you could take it off the bone using a spoon. The gravy was mildly spiced and tasted very nice. Overall I liked a few dishes and would definitely recommend both mutton preparations and Dal Makhani here . But the service part was simply disappointing. So to conclude I simply didn't enjoyed my dining here. 3/5 only for the good preparations.

The ambience of place is lovely, the food is also ok but coming to hospitality which is the most important thing for a restaurant which is very poor.

Hyped place Normal taste ...Nothing so Amazing for which one should invest time and Money I must say for reaching to restaurant for lunch and dinner just a Normal food and better option are there apart post Seperation both the Joints degradation in Tatste I can say....

Worst experience ever. No appropriate staff to handle the customer. Delay in service and helpless servers running from table to table. Most Overhyped place in amritsar. Please visit only if you want to ruin your mood.

Worst food experience in Amritsar. We found mushroom in tawa chicken main course. They sell fried rice by the name chicken biryani. The prices are sky high and not worth the quality of the food.

The food was sub-standard at best,.including uncooked rice given they had to serve a lot of crowd. It's not worth the hype or popularity. Don't waste your time and money here
