Had a wonderful experience at the Taj swarna specially at the PEG bar. Liquor r same everywhere but it the presentation the ambience and customer service and satisfaction which keeps it apart. Home made flavours and liquers had an amazing palate which added to the cocktail. I was greeted and seen through by Mr anuj who is the bar manager. He explained me the concept and the preps he takes to make the bar different from around Amritsar and other hotels. Lalit and vipan were grecious enough let me take for the property rounds and explain me the nuisances of the wonderful hotel. Would like to thank the management of the hotel for giving a pleasant stay and adding these previous employee who even after being busy take thier time to help and make a guest feel what Taj really stands for. Tajness at its best

The bartenders are very friendly and accommodating. Ask them to make a special-drink for you ; like whiskey sour, Singapore sling or even Moscow mule. They do their job well. Long Island iced tea is very good too. The ambiance is decent. Being crowded with loud music on Saturdays, the place feels like a bar to be at.

Saturday is not the right time to visit the peg as they have become totally commercial. No small drinks of whisky are served. Service extremely poor and slow. Beer brands only premium are sold. If you come on any other day the peg is always empty and you're the only one ordering.
