After a tiring day outing in Aurangabad we headed to this restaurant after searching online. We were a group of 20 people. The ambiance is good and so was the food. We ordered French fries, hakka noodles, kalmi kebabs, seekh kebabs, one full chicken platter, mutton lucknowi, chickem afghani, butter naan, garlic naan, rumali roti. All the items was super. Also the staff was great. Overall a great place to eat good food.

I often use to visit and tried every new dishes of chicken and mutton and also of biryani every time they have delicious sweet also and in vegetarian they have great taste 😋 I loved the great Indian taste I will suggest visit again and again again 😀 really it hit 5 star hotel

The Great Sagar Restaurant, located beside Bhadkal Gate in Aurangabad, is a popular dining spot with ample parking space reserved exclusively for customers. Despite its popularity and busy atmosphere—often crowded even at 3 p.m.—the experience can be a mixed bag. The food quality varies: while the Chicken Malai Tikka and Mutton Biryani are highlights and worth trying, the Chicken Kentucky falls short, resembling a plain fried chicken lacking flavor. The restaurant’s ambiance is lively, but the service and cleanliness leave much to be desired. The sole toilet available for the entire restaurant was out of water during my visit, reflecting poor maintenance. Overall, while The Great Sagar Restaurant has some commendable dishes and convenient parking, the overall dining experience may not meet expectations due to its overcrowding, service issues, and cleanliness concerns.

The biryani and accompaniments were absolutely killer. Service however, is rather poor; they try to make you sit in cramped tables even when others are empty. Had to insist quite a bit to get a cleaner and airier table. Overall, don't miss the taste.

on weekends their is no table available and the staff is arranging the the table for 4 or more people we are 2 people but the staff is not arranging

This was our only horrible experience throughout our trip in Aurangabad. Firstly, they said they don't have naan qalia, so I said okay we'll leave, since that's the Signature dish we wanted to try. Then he said okay we'll get it from the other branch and serve you. This took around an hour. Just sitting around waiting while the server says 5 mins, 5 more mins. Very very unprofessional. Once it came, the naan was good, the qalia/khaliya was not. Quite oily, no salt, not much flavour tbh, and all this after a 50+ minute wait? Shameful. We then paid our bill but wanted the bill copy back, the manager was busy on his personal call, we had to wait for a good 10+ mins till this ultra unprofessional gentleman could check if the payment went through. Thoroughly uncouth and illiterate kind of behaviour. Unexpected and took us aback. Do not recommend this place AT ALL

i ordered malai tikka , resmhi tikka and hakka noodles. I like reshmi tikka taste and also well cooked as it was small pieces. but really disappointed with malai tikka. it was not cooked properly and very rubbery and raw chicken taste. I asked one staff and informed him it's not cooked properly. he said he will do something and came back with same dish .there wasn't any improvement yet and it's still un cooked. I again informed the staff who took my order on first floor and asked to taste the chicken. he find no issue with it and hardly bothered to take feedback. he said it's mild flavour. but according to me it doesn't have any flavour and no malai in it. but I don't have any issues with flavour or its blend taste. my concern is only with uncooked malai chicken.

I was very fan of this hotel but today I received very cold veg biryani also Hotel did not pick my phone also Zomato did not respond me. the portion was less of veg biryani and hotel had offered rupees 199 had offered rupees 61 discount but did not send promo code. I want to file complaint to owner of the hotel

I think it’s Zomato problem but my order was not delivered and the delivery executive marked it as delivered and when I talked with support they called me and I couldn’t hear them. Well long story short, zomato support also said that sir order was delivered and closed my support request.

The butter chicken was really bad. The chicken was not fresh and the gravy had no spices. The servers were not ready to listen or improve the gravy and the service was really bad.
