Housed in an unassuming lane in Aurangabad, lies this amazing restaurant. It comes highly recommended, and there is a reason why it is. Thaat Baat is like being invited to someone’s home and being treated like an esteemed guest. You get served a Thali that combines Maharashtrian and Rajasthani cuisines. The taste is amazing with a wide variety of chutneys, Dals, Sabzis, Malpua and Aam Ras with Roti, Rice & Khichdi. All of it unlimited. But the service was even beyond it - Every service was with a smile and every request of ours for a serving was instantly fulfilled. I mentioned that I liked Aam Ras, and I got served 4 times, and I had to politely refuse the 5th serving. The entire staff seemed to work like a family with the owners and managers themselves involved in checking on the guests. It’s cost effective compared to similar restaurants in Bombay, you pay only at the counter and everything is transparent. We were so impressed, we had to literally fight to leave a tip. If you’re in Aurangabad, you must visit Thaat Baat.

I'm in love with this place. I was in search of pure vegetarian food and someone suggested me this place. They are serving unlimited thali of Indian classic dishes. Food was soo tasty and delicious. Service was fast and quick. Staff is well trained. Owners are well behaved and humble. Sitting arrangement are soo comfortable and peaceful. Ambiance is soo classic its based on Rajasthani theme. There are puppet show also but due to covid its not happening right now. In thali they are serving around 20 dishes. All are damn tasty. Price is also totally justify the quality and quantity. highly recommended

When we were travelling from Nagpur to pune, we took lunch break at aurangabad. When checked on zomato, that bat was nearest restuarent we found. They had aamras, mattha, kadhi, dal bati, bhakri pithla, papad, gulabjamun, paneer gravy, gatte ki sabji and some more vegetables. Some of the best fried farsans and fulke, khichadi and rice. A typical that bat or kind of rajasthani+gujarathi+maharashtrian thali menu. Every dish was good. Overall we liked that. So finally we found the good stop for lunch while passing by aurangabad. Service to be improved.

A thali restaurant which can be given a try if you are out with friends and want to hog on some unlimited food. Food quality is decent and being a thali restaurant, service time doesn't get better than this. Do give this place a try if you are nearby!

1.owner claims this place as Air conditioned hall, there are two air conditioner's installed for a hall with capacity of 80 persons. 2.The waiters are trained to avoid serving costly items. They didnt serve Paneer sabji or costliest items but make sure you eat roties which is not good. 3.sitting arrangement also is not comfortable.

It is a money centric hotel. They only want to do business, customer satisfaction isn't their priority. For children who don't eat more than 2 rotis they charge 190 Rs. When asked about this they say it's a rule. None of other thali restaurants in Aurangabad behaves immaturely like this hotel... Bad management 👎

My child was sick that day so he didn't eat. I had asked the owner to give some dal rice to eat at home but they gave both dal and rice in such a small box together that I didn't want to have food there anytime. I used to like the place but now i don't.
