I had the pleasure of dining at 1522 on Field Marshall Cariappa Road, and it was an amazing experience! The atmosphere was vibrant, and the service provided by Rohit and the team was commendable. We ordered a variety of dishes, and each one was delicious. The Murgh Ke Sho was succulent and packed with rich flavors. The Grilled Chicken was perfectly cooked, tender, and juicy. The Spicy Lemon Chicken had a delightful tangy kick to it, while the Chicken Cutlet was crispy and full of flavor. For lighter bites, the Spring Roll C was a standout with its crispiness and savory filling. The Mango Boom was a refreshing drink, adding a fruity and tropical touch to the meal. To top it off, the Screwdriver cocktail was a perfect companion to the meal – well-mixed and refreshing. The bill including taxes and service charges was reasonable considering the quality and quantity of food. 1522 is definitely a spot worth visiting for a satisfying meal and great service. Highly recommended for food lovers! P.S - Do listen to the in-house band Teh Acoustic Saga. Their playlist is brilliant.

Located in one the most popular locations Residency Road, this place has been a great hangout with friends & family since it’s opening. The menu and the crowd doesn’t disappoint you! If you are an old Bangalorean you know it’s your kind of place the minute you enter! My absolute favourite is the Coriander Chicken, Prawns Ghee Roast, Fried Calamari, Tawa Fish Fry… the list would go on since the menu is justice to what comes on the plate and goes into your tummy! The Mangalorean menu is a super must try, for those hunting for good Mangalorean food around Bangalore! This place never fails to impress with the vibe it holds, and honestly you could go in at anytime of the day and experience a definite come back for sure.

The best place to be in because of its simplicity, ambiance, food, drink, service and that look and feel!! This was my first visit to this 1522 outlet and my experience was just Wow!! Apart from everything if am not wrong during the 90’s this place had the iconic pub known as “Pub world” which opened up my good old memories of the 90’s but this 1522 outlet rocks in every way!💯

We visited the bar arround 6 person and ordered a Toit Tint Wint draught beer. Around 12:15 AM, one of the servers informed us that it was the last order, and we requested one more Toit Tint Wint beer. However, a few minutes later, another staff member came and said that we are unable to serve beer now because the restaurant is closed and that time, time was 12.15am and despite the restaurant's listed closing time being 1:00 AM on Google. What disappointed us the most was the behavior of the staff, especially the manager, Mr. Rishi. Instead of handling the situation professionally, he argued with us and spoke very rudely to my friends and me. Shockingly, he even told us not to come back to the restaurant. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, especially in a hospitality setting. A manager’s role is to resolve guest concerns calmly and respectfully—not escalate them. Unfortunately, this experience was far from the standard one would expect from a reputed place like this. I would not recommend visiting this restaurant due to the unprofessional conduct of the staff and management.
