The restaurant located clean surrounding. It is having good ambience. It has wide variety of food to offer, plenty of varieties on the menu card, nearly 230 items and more importantly, the staff provides excellent service. owner himself takes the order and suggest you good items on the menu as per our taste. They take care of clients very well.

The food was excellent and delicious. Each and every item we ordered was superb. This is the best restaurant for Kerala cuisine. The ambience was Kerala style and the service was great. I would really recommend this place for family and friends.

One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in my life. This was my first visit to this restaurant and will definitely be my last. I had ordered Chicken Kizhi Biriyani for lunch on 5th October, while my husband had ordered Pork Kizhi Biriyani. To my absolute horror, I was served Beef Kizhi Biriyani instead. I do not eat any other meat apart from chicken, and this kind of negligence is completely unacceptable. When I highlighted it to the staff, all they had to say was a casual “sorry” — no seriousness, no accountability, nothing. Shockingly, there was another customer at the same time who complained about a similar mix-up with their order. Clearly, this isn’t a one-off mistake but a reflection of how careless the kitchen and service staff are. Serving the wrong meat is not a small error — it’s an unforgivable lapse, especially when it concerns people’s dietary preferences and beliefs. A word of caution to everyone: Please beware of what you eat here. Double-check your order before you start eating, because you might not be served what you actually ordered. Extremely disappointed and disgusted by this experience. I would never recommend this place to anyone who values hygiene, honesty, and respect for customer choices.

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent experience at Ammachide Kaippunnyam restaurant on Sarjapur Road. In fact, it was one of the worst dining experiences I've had in Bangalore. The service was exceptionally poor. If you're considering having lunch there, I strongly recommend bringing snacks to avoid going hungry. The service was incredibly slow, so I advise planning your day accordingly if you decide to visit Upon arriving at 2:30 PM, we waited nearly 20 minutes before our order was taken. We ordered one meal and a biryani. After waiting for approximately 30 minutes, I inquired about our food, only to discover that the staff member had no record of our order. Shortly after, another staff member informed us that the dishes we ordered were unavailable and they were just now preparing them – this after a 40-minute wait! Ultimately, we were forced to leave the restaurant without eating. This was a truly awful experience. I shared my concerns with the cashier, but they seemed completely unconcerned. While the restaurant's name, Ammachide Kaippunnyam, suggests a certain level of care and quality, it clearly does not deliver on that promise.

I visited this restaurant on Sunday and ordered a meal. The table I was sitting at was not cleaned, and no one came to offer water. After waiting for 45 minutes, the staff informed me that brown rice was finished and only white rice was available — we agreed to that. Then again, we had to wait another 30 minutes, and I had to go to the kitchen myself to request the food. The food was very average and not tasty at all. Most of the items are overpriced and not worth the money. This is not my first visit — I have been here three times, and every time I faced the same poor experience. Once I ordered appam, which had no taste. Another time, I ordered a tender coconut shake costing ₹140 — it was not good.

Pathetic Service, arrogant staff, not at all a good experience. one of the worst experiences of dining out. spoiled our Sunday lunch, would not at all recommend this place if at all you going out with your family. staff is absurd and unprofessional.

Food was tasteless. Got conned with the icecream. Instead of a full scoop of icecream got a piece of ice, literal frozen water, ice. service was also very slow. For the money that we pay, it's not worth it.
