Comfort food. These two words are the reason they started Bangalore Thindies. A humble attempt to bring authentic, delicious and hygienic food to all, at affordable prices, with no fuss. Their growing popularity has created so much demand that they just opened a new branch in Lady Curzon Road, Shivaji Nagar. Now, we tried their crispy ghee podi masala dosa, which truly is an emotion; their fluffy ghee podi mini idlis melt in the mouth; the crunchy Vada dunked in piping hot delicious sambar is everything we need to start our day. We also had their Kesari bath and Rava idli, which we loved. The delicious breakfast was topped off with the most integral part of our lives - filter kaapi. If you're a tea person, they have lime tea and milk tea. So, next time you're in Shivaji Nagar, or Commercial Street, or just finished your morning run at Cubbon park, make sure to drop by Bangalore thindies, to have your fill of the delicious comfort food they offer, I assure you, that you will love it. If you're already a patron of their existing outlets, then you're going to love this outlet even more, as they are open full day, all the way till 10 at night, so you can enjoy your favourite food, all day, any day.

While the city has ample places for dosas and idlis, what we missed is a good joint that serves quality South Indian breakfast in central Bengaluru! A chain that takes care of both quantity and quality! Keeping up with the cut throat competition, here is Bangalore Thindis that delivers crispy podi masala dosa and humble Keshri bath which were my favourite picks! They also serve (now super famous) button Idli in sambar dip that is a crowd pleaser! Head over to one of their outlets if you love Namma Bengaluru style breakfast!

I visited this place in the morning for my breakfast along with some friends. It’s a self service place. We started with Pudi Uttapam and Mini Ghee Pudi Idlis. The generous amount of pudi and ghee was used in preparation of both. The uttapam was loaded with onions and carrots as well. The taste was really good. I didn’t like the sambhar much though as I like the spicy one. Next I tried their pudi masala dosa. The dosa was very crispy and the aloo masala was yummy. It went well with the green coconut chutney. We finished our breakfast with a kesari bath and badam milk. The kesari bath was perfect in terms of sweetness. Overall, a pretty nice and pocket friendly place to have delicious South Indian breakfast.

Visited Bangalore thindies for breakfast over the weekend and loved each and every dish on the menu. The premise is clean and food is prepared freshly upon order in a very hygienic manner. The pricing is also pocket friendly and taste is amazing. The show stealer is definitely the pudi masala dosa with butter! And I completed my breakfast with a cup of frothy filter coffee and just loved it too. They not only serve breakfast they even serve lunch and snacks. Must visit place for a lovely breakfast.

This place is not just another hole in the wall South Indian outlet Located at a stones throw from cub on park metro, Bangalore Thindies offers perhaps the best Darshini food you will savour The podi dosa and the podi idly are the stars of the show but they have delectable vada, Kesari bath and curd rice too. The freshness of the ingredients exudes in each bite, a perfect cuppa of filter coffee to wash down the simple yet wholesome meal. No seating, so it’s a grab n go or stand and eat outlet. But you won’t mind the drill There is so much flavour and freshness in each bite that you would crave more

I have tried their other branch in Indiranagar, it is very small and difficult for dining. This branch at Lady Curzon road, is bigger in size and almost 50 pax can fit in for dining. Thou this is a new branch, i enjoyed the similar feel i had with Bangalore Thindies. It is truly love for South.
