If fast service and tasty food had a name, it’d be BAO Bangalore! For ₹800, we shared Chicken 65 Bao, Chicken Chilli Oil Dumplings, Datsy Gravy Noodles, and Tiramisu - great value for two. The bao was creamy and flavourful, with vinegared cucumber, radish, and fried onions. The dumplings were spicy and juicy with chilli oil. Datsy gravy Noodles were ok (2.5/5) but filling. Don’t miss the complimentary broth—it’s surprisingly delicious. With only four tables, there’s a short wait, but they’ll take your order regardless of seating. We got our order in just 8 minutes served in clean takeaway boxes - then eat and move on. Few prefer to eat in the car. It’s quick, affordable, and very clean. Highly recommend and will definitely return!

Went there yesterday cause I really followed the chef from masterchef, but the experience was absolutely disappointing. The service was bad, they have too many staff but nothing is brought to the table on time. The chili oil dumplings were tasteless and the boa just avg, i have had better. Disappointed, wont recommend.

Really underwhelming an experience. 1. The food was severely underseasoned and they used the same fried chicken in all the dishes. 2. The Chilly Oil Fried Rice had no hints of chilly oil whatsoever and borderline tasted like Poha because of the copious amounts of peanuts and no other flavour. 3. These are not dealbreakers for me but definitely off putting - the outer seating area had a weird smell which hit the second we entered. The wait time was a little too long. Maybe they can invest in some better cutlery rather than wooden spoons? I get it it’s a fast food joint but if I’m sitting and having a full meal in an establishment I expect basic cutlery. 4. Again I’m sorry if I’m being nitpicky was I was seated right beside the kitchen and the staff was rather annoyingly loud, if you have an open kitchen concept and seats right beside it, maybe be slightly cognisant of this. I would recommend Fomomo over Bai Bangalore ANYDAY, even though the dishes they offer are starkly different. Better experience overall.

I'm leaving such a low rating not because of the food (which is awesome btw) but due to the abysmal interaction I had with your staff member. I was really excited to get my friends to try this place and all of that went away with how one of your staff member (I can't recollect his name, only that he knew Tamil) spoke to us. this guy was presumptuous and arrogant who believes he is better than everyone else. He was rude and pompous and frankly left a terrible taste in the mouth. I have been to this place multiple times and it easily is one of my favourite joints in the city, I can't recommend it enough. I have always had an excellent experience in the place as well but this time was just horrible. @Bao Bangalore management, please make sure you don't have such an arrogant and obnoxious individual manning your counters cause that would be the easiest way to lose all of your good will and customers. I hope you take this feedback seriously and take some action.

First of all, I'm vegetarian.. and I ordered Veg Dan Dan noodles and received this.. which is totally different... Frankly, I'm a little worried, cause I don't know if it's a veg bowl or a chicken bowl... (I don't know if that's cabbage or boiled chicken and I was reluctant to check it) Very very disappointed This is my first order from Bao Bangalore. This was supposed to be my lunch, and obviously I didn't eat it. I don't know how they can make such a blunder.

full of cockroaches on floor plenty of mosquitoes slow service the girl on counter was so busy she told to wait 10 mins for an add on spicy chutney all , the dumplings were ok but not the staff. meanwhile they had a complain of sending non veg for a veg and the whole kitchen was laughing rather than feeling sorry.... such a shame. Chef Mahendra please take a look.
