I had the best masala dosa of my life here. Perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside. Pineapple sheera was so good. Not over sweet, little chunks of pineapple. Khara bhath was also so good. Idli was soft and crispy vada was also so good , we liked everything here. Millet kitchdi was a bit runny. Filter coffees were so strong and good. It was a bit over crowded on a weekend morning. But yet the surroundings were clean and maintained well. Plates were eco friendly. I just wish they made more tables to eat instead of holding it in hand even if there were no seats to sit.

The restaurant has limited items but all are made fresh. We tried the idli-vada, clarified butter masala dosa, khara bhath and kesari bhath. The Mangaluru bajji, served between 4 and 6 pm, is a big draw. The foxtail millet Pongal is ideal for diabetics. One pays at the ordering counter, takes tokens and when the token number is displayed collects the food. There is a separate serving counter for coffee and tea. It was heartening to see patrons dispose off used wooden plates into a bin. The premises are clean and there is provision to wash hands and drink water.

Bangalore Cafe is a typical Bangalore darshini hotel, meaning stand and eat, although there is a bench which is used mainly by elderly folks. The place gets very crowded, but once you bite into their masala dose, or idlis or vadas or chow-chow baath, it is totally worth it. The best and crispiest dose in all of Bangalore, in my opinion. The strong, steaming hot filter coffee tops off a great eating experience.

I have to visit this place once a month at least otherwise I'll miss this. Visit in the evening before 7pm to have delicious Golibajji. Idli Vada and Benne Masala Dose are my absolute favourites here. One of the best in Bengaluru. This place has no place to sit and dine if you want that. But you can carry plates and go beside the road to sit near the park, there is plenty of space.

Another joint offering nice and crispy dosas. Their idlis are also super soft. However the filter coffee was a perfect balance of bitter and sweet. A great place for a soul satisfying breakfast.

Food was average and the overall experience could have been better. The service queue was long and poorly managed, with hardly any seating available—just a single bench for elders. Waste was left in the front, which made the place look unhygienic. Pricing was reasonable, but the ambience and service need major improvement.
