Bhartiya Jalpan is one such place in Namma Bengaluru who started serving Chole Bhature and North Indian chats when there was no much fuss about it. Chole Bhature were simply good, right on masala and tanginess. Fluffy bhatura with achar was delicious. Raj Kachori is one of my favourite chat, and I am very picky about it, Bhartiya Jalpan surprised me by it taste, I'll definitely visit Bhartiya Jalpan again for Raj Kachori for sure. And, ginger tea is best to end the meal and destress from the shopping.

Both the whole bhatures were delicious and yummy! Natures are supposed to be a bit bigger when it comes to their sizes but the food quality was good. There are no lemon slices has been served with both chole bhatures that was the only thing was missing when it comes to the completeness of the food.

Absolutely loved their chole kulcha. Kulcha was soft and fluffy, one of the best I’ve had till date. Aloo paratha was okay. Lassi was good. Seating is a problem as space is limited and it gets really crowded at lunch time.

the food items are way over priced and not worth the taste. we tried Masala poori and Dahi poori.. masala poori was not good, Dahi poori was okay, but I have had better at lower the price. here the chats costed us 120rs+ while a glass of buttermilk was 100.. that's way higher as compared to the taste. overall I think it is overpriced and not worth the visit any more.

The taste of the chole bhature was blunt.. I didn't like it at all! Pao bhaji was fine btw. Overall experience not so good. Would not recommend.

Pretty bad hyigene. Not clean, food didn't look and taste fresh. Toilet was very dirty. Overall not a good experience.

I ordered a so-called paneer paratha which was a disaster from start to finish. The outer layer felt like a greasy, soggy cardboard box soaked in oil, with enough grease to make you wonder if it was deep-fried in a barrel of engine oil. The paneer filling was an insult to the word paneer—it resembled a tasteless, rubbery sponge, likely crafted from leftover silicone, with a flavor that could only be described as a mix of stale mushrooms and regret, as if a cat had coughed it up. And then there was the mysterious middle layer—a culinary abomination that tasted like damp paper towels marinated in expired yogurt, with a texture so rubbery it could double as a tire patch. The spices, if they existed, seemed to be in a witness protection program—completely absent. Every bite felt like a betrayal of my taste buds, a cruel joke by a chef whose ambition was apparently to create the food equivalent of a crime scene. This wasn’t just bad—it was an assault on everything edible.

Commercial street outlet - Cleanliness & Hygiene was terrible. Food & used tissues scattered on the floor. Cockroaches moving around. Wet floor. Slipped and fell down due to wet floor. Hurt my hand & back. Very bad house keeping. Do not know the condition of the kitchen. Should complain to the Health department.

We had ordered Mix veg curry which had a tonne of onion and a couple of pieces of panner. You will be disappointed if you expect any veggies at all in the dish. Lime juice barely had any lime in it and tasted like very slightly flavoured water.
