I am not sure why the reviews aren’t nice. As far as quality of food goes for genuine Bengali cuisine, it is one of the best in Bangalore. The mutton pieces are always nice and tender. The daal is always great. Best shukto in Bangalore, with high quality ingredients. And the service is top notch and they actually want you to have a good experience. For example, if they see that you are struggling to find place on your plate to place the fish or mutton bones, they will provide you with one without having to ask.

Don't listen to others, this place is fantastic! Order in is not recommended but if you go and eat here it'll be the best Bangla food you've had in a long while! 100% recommend!

The food was very average and quantity was less and Steam Rice price is expensive Rs125 per plate where for two normal people you will actually need to 2-3 plates. We ordered dhokar dalna and Sorshe Pabda. Dhokar dalna was average cooked and Pabda was very dull in taste and Fish used was not fresh

This place used to be one of the best Bengali restaurant in Bangalore now it has gone to the drain . today we went for lunch and first they only had the thali option .... The price that they charge is not justified at any level, the veg thali was average at best and I have eaten better fare at any mess . the non veg thali had fish which was not fresh mostly a day old , the chicken was undercooked and the basanti pulao was actually spoilt you guys are doing thali on rush days just so you can finish whatever leftovers you have from other days... behaviour of the staff is very entitled and they behave as if they are doing a favor on you when you as customer is paying . never visiting again and asking others not to as well

I had a very disappointing experience with this restaurant. I ordered Katla Kalia, and the fish was clearly stale and smelled bad. This isn’t the first time—I’ve ordered the same dish thrice and received spoiled fish on both the times. I would not recommend ordering items from here. Please maintain proper food quality and freshness.

We had ordered one fish kobiraji as a starter. We found PLASTIC in it when chewing the food. Once we informed the waiter about it. He was reluctant. We refused to pay for the dish, then the waiter mentioned " YOU HAVE EATEN IT SO PAY FOR IT". Had a horrible experience. PLEASE BEWARE OF PLASTIC. YOU MAY FIND IT IN YOUR FOOD.

I ordered Katla Kalia from this restaurant, and the fish that was delivered was completely rotten and stale. I would strongly advise others not to order food from here, especially non-vegetarian items. I have ordered Katla Kalia twice, and both times I received spoiled fish.
