Today, I finally visited the legendary Brahmin's Tiffin and Coffee in Jayanagar. As someone who usually leans towards dosa and filter coffee, I decided to try something different for once — their idlis. And let me tell you, I was absolutely mind blown. Served with a simple, white coconut chutney, the idlis were incredibly soft, fluffy, and melt-in-the-mouth. Every bite felt comforting, like a warm hug to the soul, heart, and stomach. Even now, as I think about it, my mouth is watering! What surprised me most was how minimal yet magical the whole dish was. No fancy presentation or multiple accompaniments — just pure, honest, delicious food. And the best part? Each idli costs just ₹15! Quality and simplicity at its best. If someone asked me whether I prefer dosa or idli now, my answer would be clear: idli, but only from Brahmin’s. Visited here on a Sunday morning along with a friend. It was quite crowded. We ordered the following: Idli, Vada, Chowchow bath and coffee and ginger coffee (kashaya). They serve idli and vada with chutney only. Chutney can be the diluted one or you can request the thick one too. We did get seating but some people prefer to stand out and eat. Service is quick, the food items are served fresh and hot. Price is also pocket friendly. Will definitely visit again to try other items.

awesome kharabath and a very good masala dosa with minimal oil. have the filter coffee to finish. per head cost typically $1 😍

The place is very old by the name, also the best for small chit-chat with frds. Idlis and Vadas are superbly good, chutney is game-changing. The idlis are soft and Vadas are crispy. Ended with a filter coffee ❤️❤️❤️ lively at best Must visit

One of the great breakfast place in Bangalore , this is my first time visit here, I ordered dosa, idli vada and coffee. Coffee and Vada was exceptional, must try.

Why is there so much hype around this place is something I will never understand. Agreed that it is cheap but there is nothing extraordinary about the limited menu items that they offer. But somehow there seems to be a lot of crowd around this place at all times which translates to a lot of publicity in return. But looking at it objectively, there is unfortunately not much to talk about. The food was average, there was a lot of crowd and the service was average too. I would only choose this place if I was going out somewhere and cannot afford to spend a lot of time on food.

Brahmins tiffins and coffee at Madhavan park, Jayanagar. Idli and Vada are the goto dishes in this place, served with flavourful chutney. I also tried the goli baje, unfortunately was cold by the time I got there. I suggest m, you visit around 6pm to get a fresh hot batch. Coffee was a delight after this meal. Easily one of the worst dosas and vadas I've ever eaten. A disgrace to south indian food. The vada was cold, the dosa didn't have salt and was undercooked. Spoilt my morning.
