Fuss free place that serves literally 6-7 items out of which we ordered almost everything. Coffee? Great. Kesari bath? Amazing. Idli? Great. Vada? *Faints* Clearly one of the best vada in Bangalore. No debate. The price is so reasonable that I am jealous of everyone who lives nearby, including the occasional kids you spot eating breakfast with their friends before hurrying to the school next door.

I've been visiting the place over years and it never fails to brighten the start of my day. There's really no seating to be talked of, there's just some beautifully soft idlis in chutney, a gorgeous glass of filter coffee and a great experience in the streets of Basavangudi. A must try for all Bangaloreans, this is what a real breakfast is all about.

One of the oldest hotel in and around Basavanagudi for their beautiful soft idly and crispy hot Vada dipped with chutney at the end the gorgeous glass of filter coffee. Ambience is good with their friendly staff. Food is always yummy. Always a crowded place for this iconic hotel with no parking.

I recently visited Brahmin's Coffee Bar with my husband. We were very excited to finally taste their famous idlis, as we had heard so much about the place. However, our experience was extremely disappointing. The service process did not seem hygienic at all. The plates and glasses did not appear to be washed properly, which made us uncomfortable. Because of this, we decided not to eat there and instead requested takeaway and paid extra for the packing. To our absolute horror, when we were eating our packed food outside the shop (not even inside the premises), the owner lady started shouting at us in front of a crowd in her native language. Being from North India, we could not understand what she was saying, but her tone and behaviour were extremely rude and insulting. From her actions, we understood that people are not allowed to eat in or even around the circumference of the shop if they take packed food. First of all, we live in a free country, and such arbitrary rules cannot be imposed on customers, especially when they are not mentioned anywhere. Secondly, there were no instructions written anywhere in English stating that packed food cannot be eaten nearby. Lastly, this is not how customers or guests should be treated. We felt so insulted that we offered the idli to a beggar instead of having it. Throughout our trip this was the ONLY PLACE WHERE OWNER (THOUGH THIS LADY- MRS. ADIGA, HAD BEEN WORKING AS AN HR IN IBM) DID NOT HAVE THE SHEER COURTESY TO DEAL WITH THE CUSTOMERS RESPECTFULLY. We visited MTR and VIDYARTHI BHAWAN as well and were welcomed with great respect and humility. This lady needs to mend her ways and learn how to behave. The food might be famous, but the behaviour of the owner was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. Good food does not justify rude behaviour. I hope the management understands that customer service and basic courtesy are just as important as the food they serve.
