The food was good, the staff were polite, and there was a great variety of dishes! :) The only catch? The sofas were wet — probably after a wash. When we mentioned it, we were told they were Burmese sofas designed to keep us cool. 😂 We know the difference between cooling and wet 😂 A simple “sorry, we’ll look into it” would’ve gone a long way! But jokes apart, the food and overall experience were good! :))

The place is beautifully done and the service is pretty fast. However, my taste buds didn’t quite agree with all the hype around this place. The Khao Suey was no doubt amazing and packed with flavour! The Samosa Soup and Bamboo Soup, though, were very watery and felt quite overpriced. The Sticky Rice with Mushroom was either a bad order from us or simply meant to be that way—we’re not sure, but none of us liked it. Verdict: Would definitely go back for the Khao Suey, but probably not for anything else.

Went to Burma Burma yesterday, (last visited an year ago). The food and service seems to have gone downhill; sundried bamboo and noodle soup had too much soy sauce in the broth, the sticky rice with curried mushrooms was mediocre, and the tres leches was too sweet. The worst one though was the Burmese Stir Fry, I am quite sure they gave us some other dish, nothing in the dish was even fried 😅. The cream corn palata was the only amazing item we got. The service was also quite bad, the waiter was not receptive to us asking a couple of extra bowls and asking if the chef can accommodate a small change in the order I will not be going there again

Good ambience and decent food, but for a restaurant that positions itself as fine dining, seeing a cockroach scurrying around our food on the bar counter was absolutely appalling. At this price point and supposedly premium standard, basic hygiene should not even be in question. No amount of ambience, presentation, or service can make up for something this disgusting. A thoroughly unacceptable experience for a so-called fine-dining establishment.

This review is specifically for the Indiranagar outlet, I have been to other outlets. At other outlets, there is consistency in the dishes, the same dish is the same level at different outlets. Not so here. Wa potato was cut too thick, had minimal seasoning which made it feel like eating French fries. Dessert I liked felt like a temu version of the original one. Would not be visiting here again
