Visited Burma Burma, Indiranagar, and overall had a good experience! The ambience is really pretty and makes for a nice dining experience. We started with the chef-recommended Tar La Sun Dried Bamboo & Noodle Soup. It was good, though not something I would call exceptional. If you enjoy tangy and refreshing flavours, you can give it a try. We also ordered the Masala Mushroom, but honestly, I felt it was a bit overpriced for what was served. The portion had only 3 pieces, and I personally found it a little oily. The highlight for me was the Water Chestnut, Tofu & Lotus Stem Stir Fry. It was really delicious, smooth in flavour, and something I would definitely recommend. For dessert, we tried the Rangoon Baked Milk, and it was absolutely amazing! Definitely my favourite part of the meal. We paid around ₹2,500 for two people, which I personally felt was slightly expensive for the quantity and overall experience. But if you want to try something different and explore Burmese cuisine, you can give this place a try.

We walked as we were just two of us. Initially managed to get the high seated chairs but later they moved us to a table so that bit was good. Service was quick and they did give attention. Let’s talk about food. We ordered Samosa Salad, Udon Noodles, Berry Matcha and lotus stem crisps. Lotus stem Crisps: these are packaged chips of lotus stems so was meh for us for a dinner table pallet but u can munch on it otherwise Udon noodles (Vegan) was good like 4/5 Berry Matcha (Vegan and SF) was good too like 4/5 The clear winner was samosa salad (Vegan) 5/5 . It was 🤩. We got vegan version but u get the non vegan versions too. And for all the vegan ppl out there , this place has a separate menu for Vegans 😍 Good ambience and good service .. and if they hadn’t rushed us after giving us the table then I would have rated 5/5 but I can easily still say 4.5/5 🙂

I remember going to Burma Burma years back and loved their food. This time i visited indiranagar branch and the food was pathetic (except khao souey). I dont know if they changed the ingredients but food was really bad. We ordered lotus crisps. I had loved them earlier. This time they served us and it was soo soo spicy that we could barely eat it. It was not edible. I had lotus crisps earlier also. They were never meant to be spicy. And please note that i am some one who eats lots of chillis. Then i wanted to try chilli garlic noodles. I understand it will be chilli but the dish served to us was not edible at all. It was crazy spicy. And there was no tofu in it at all. We just could not eat it. We just finished khao souey as that was really good. I had last time gone to Delhi branch. I dont know if they have customized their dishes catering to south indian taste but normally dishes are standard. I should have clicked the pics of lotus crisps and chilli garlic noodles (no tofu ay all). They were literally fiery!! And chili garlic noodles were just not edible. Who ever the chef was in the kitchen on Friday afternoon should taste the food first. Pathetic just pathetic. Lost a customer forever.
