The food here is exceptional. The starters arrived hot and perfectly cooked, setting the tone for a memorable meal. The chaats were bursting with flavor, and the pani with the golgappa had that authentic street-cart taste that’s hard to find in restaurants. The dosas had just the right texture—crisp on the outside, soft inside—and the chutneys were simply outstanding. Every dish in the main course was flawlessly prepared, and the wide selection of desserts was a delight. Special mention goes to the authentic kulfi on a stick—a nostalgic and delicious touch. Adding to the experience, the staff were warm, cheerful, and incredibly attentive. A particularly impressive highlight was how many non-Kannadiga staff members spoke fluent Kannada, which added a personal and respectful local touch. Lowlights: No option for self-parking, which could be inconvenient. The buffet counter presentation could use improvement—it doesn’t quite reflect how tasty the dishes actually are.

we have been visiting this place for over 15Years... The food never disappointed us. Never the food caused any ill problems post eating at Cable Car. always the service is elegant and you fell being happier with options provided. Love this place for all my special occasion Breakfast/Lunch/dinners..

Had been here for a birthday celebration. The staff at the hotel were really quick with service and were polite .The food was awesome.They also have a variety of options in buffet, all cuisines included. Had a great time here with family n friends.

The food and service were excellent. All the staff here speak Kannada and the restaurant plays Kannada music which is a rarity in fine dine restaurants these days. The staff are also very courteous.

Food taste is very very very good. I keep going to Cable car quite often. Compared to sattvam the taste here far better.

had been here for a yummy buffet with my friend and we both loved each and every dish which was served to us. From starters till the variety of desert. full paisa vasool kinda menu. 5 variety starters welcome drink 2 diff soups. a section for chats. Masala Dosa. 12 varieties of desserts. main couse was filled with poori roti 4 rice items semiya pulav salads sections had 5 varieties of sprouts dishes. 6 varieties of ice cream. uff and a great cable car environment

This place has gone down. The food used to be so nice it’s bad now. And there was some kitty party going on it was so loud and annoying . Really disappointed

I went to the Cable Car in the ala carte section in the ground with an NRI friend today. First they didn't take reservations when we called. They said they allot table on first come first serve basis. Then they did not let us sit where we wanted to sit because 12 people were supposed to come and they had reserved that table for them. We were sitting at another place and having our soup and starter. Suddenly the manager came and asked us to move to another table in between food because some other customers came. I found this a little strange and embarrassing and I have not seen this kind of behaviour in any restaurant in Bangalore. I did question his behaviour and he started defending himself instead of politely answering us and I was taken aback.This was our first visit to the restaurant and it was a bad experience and the manager kept pushing us to change our table two three times in the garb of making a request. We did oblige but that spoiled our experience. The food and taste is overhyped. I think because a lot of people visit them, and the place is famous that is why they behave with customers like this.. and by the way they charged us service charges after all this.. The manager was defending his behaviour even after I obliged. If you are in Jayanagar or JP nagar, you may avoid this place and rather go to Sattvam, 24th Main, Neemly and Satwik kitchen. The food is excellent in these places and I have heard good things about them. This place is avoidable as per me since I stay in South Bangalore and there are many restaurants which are polite and care for their customers. This experience was indeed embarrassing for me and my guest.
