We ordered their set menu from the delivery sevice. The huge boxes of food were dropped on time. And boy! are they awesome. The Taj deserves a resounding applause for the delicious spread. The menu included Starters : galouti (to die for)& chicken tangdi / vegetable chop & gilafi paneer( yummy) Main course : kosha mangsho & awadhi murgh korma / shahi malai kofta.Just right. Accompaniments : Dal makhni ( perfect )Pudina paratha , daler kochuri, awadhi biryani / sabz biryani. Dessert : Shahi tukda & pantua. Delicious finale! The food was lightly spiced and tasty, the portions very generous. The rates are slightly uncomfortable on the pocket. Yet I highly recommend ordering this set meal for a burst of flavours to brighten your weekend in lockdown ! Don't miss pampering yourself with their ongoing 'Anniversary offer' ( till 25th of july)

**Food and Drinks:** When you think of Taj, you expect nothing less than perfection, and Cafe 77 East lives up to that reputation. The buffet is a gastronomic journey that tantalizes your taste buds. The salads are a fresh delight, and every dish speaks of culinary expertise. The set menus are a testament to Taj's commitment to quality. The galouti kebabs are heavenly, and every dish, from the chicken tangdi to the shahi tukda, is a celebration of flavors. **Ambiance:** The ambiance at Cafe 77 East is nothing short of luxurious. It's a haven away from the bustling streets of Bangalore. The air feels fresher, and the decor is a blend of modern sophistication with a touch of traditional elegance. The October fest brunch was a memorable experience, with an endless spread that left me in awe. **Service:** The service is impeccable, as you would expect from Taj. The staff is attentive, ensuring that every need is catered to. Whether it's a special request for a dish or just a refill of your drink from their cute cocktail cart, they're on it. However, there were moments during dinner when the service felt a bit delayed, possibly due to the rush, but that's a minor hiccup in an otherwise flawless experience. **Value for Money:** While the prices might seem a bit steep, the quality of the food, the ambiance, and the service make it worth every penny. It's not just a meal; it's an experience, a journey of flavors and luxury that you won't easily forget. **Final Verdict:** Cafe 77 East at Taj Bangalore is more than just a dining destination; it's an emotion. It's the joy of a perfectly brewed cup of coffee, the nostalgia evoked by a dish, and the comfort of impeccable service. It's a place where memories are made, be it a business trip or a casual brunch. **Swati Mishra - @thetravellinfork**

When you talk about Taj, it signifies sophistication and quality. This place didn't dissapoint one bit on those counts. The buffet was an absolute delight especially the salads although the only letdown was the lamb...will surely try this place multiple times hopefully!

Ambience: Excellent. As expected the Taj meets the standard here. A soothing and relaxing atmosphere to enjoy a hearty breakfast. The light music relaxes you and lightens up your mood. Breakfast Buffet: The spread had excellent choices of fruit bowls and cereals. It also had outstanding muffins and croissants. The Udin Vadas were so crispy and yummy. But the Buffet disappoints you on several counts. The manner of display falls far below the standard expected from the Taj. The continental dishes are scattered around the place and unless the diner really looks around he is going to miss many things. It could not be understood why the counters for the sausages, bacon and eggs were kept in the midst of the vegetarian dishes away from the smoked salmon and ham slices which were properly kept alongside the Toast counter. The variety of spread is sure to disappoint the visitor. Surprisingly the buffet didn’t have any fresh bread rolls except for the regular pre-sliced breads which forms part of any buffet. The gourmet breads were limited to muffins and croissant. There were no options of Baguettes or Brioche. Surprisingly Pancakes were also absent from the spread. The choices for tea was almost nil except for normal tea, when options were available for coffee lovers. There should have been the options for multiple flavours and also the black teas. Even if we presume that the primary target group for the buffet is the customers expecting an Indian Cuisine, then also the spread was not up to the mark. Moreover the quality of the dishes especially the Sambar offered was not exciting any part of the taste buds. The Omelette maker, I believe has forgotten the factors differentiating the Masala Omelette from a French or Cheese Omelette. The Indian customer ordering a Masala Omelette always shall expect his egg to be well cooked. For the sake of inducing the fluffiness one should not leave the masala omelette watery. Any person may doubt that the buffet has been designed to cater exclusively the transit customers from the Airport. Unless the Taj has decided to restrict its access to the transit customers they should definitely improve their breakfast buffet. Unless more care is shown towards this section the walk in customers may not be tempted to find their back again.

As someone who has visited several Taj properties across India over the years. This possibly is the worst possible experience ever in a Taj property. The horror started the minute we reached the place as they had forgotten to arrange for a birthday cake which we had mentioned clearly on multiple occasions at the time of reservation & 10 mins later just gave some make shift arrangement slice after multiple reminders. There was no proper cutlery at the tables and no proper serving plates and bowls at the serving stations as well. When asked for an ice cream bowl the staff casually asked us to take from the station where Lal Maas was kept. My mom being a vegetarian didn't even bother to take the ice cream. Even had to wait for 15 mins just to get a napkin. We had to beg for the plates to be cleared on every occasion and despite that we had move around the used plates on the table and eat because they weren't clearing it. Finally, when we called out some staff they offered a fake apology and the agony continued just after. They took a mocktail order and served 3 of the 4 drinks and the 4th drink never arrived. When mentioned at the time of bill they casually said do we want to order then with absolutely no repentance. The service was absolutely horrendous and a complete mess. Think very hard before planning to go here as it's an excellent way to ruin your precious family time. The point to note is that the place was not very crowded. For a place like Taj where service is of utmost importance this is a very big downward slide.

Absolutely pathetic and a total waste of money! Hardly any items available in the Breakfast Buffet. The waffles were cold and hard, and there was no one at the counter to make fresh ones. There was also noodles and mutton kheema. Who eats noodles or kheema for breakfast??!! Went all the way to the Airport, hoping for a good breakfast after a long drive and was completely put off. When I told one of the staff about this, they asked me to name some dish and they would prepare it. The whole point of a buffet is to either have what is available, or mix and match various ingredients yourself to create something new and interesting! To the Management at Taj, please don't apologise or even try to persuade me to come again. I wouldn't come even if the buffet is offered for free! A 5 star hotel should know what food to serve, when and how. That is why people pay a premium.

I read Suraj's review and I want to bring this to Taj management that every employee should be treated with the same respect.
