Our to go place for all our meetings gettogethers, issues. Visits this place almost everyday. The staffs are really cool and friendly. The Afghani biriyani is a must try. We visit at times to eat their biriyani.

This coffee shop has been there at this place for quite some time now. And the best part about it is that it is somehow away from the crowded areas like the Jayanagar 4th block. It lets people just drive for a distance near to Ashoka Pillar and spent time with family/friends over a cup of coffee. And when you know that the quality of the coffee will be as consistent as what you get at other outlets, the place automatically gets to be chosen by people. I have visit this place quite a few times when in need of coffee or even a simple break. Location If you coming from Jayanagar 4th Block heading towards the Ashoka Pillar. The road has a circle at 1 end behind which a huge ground is present. When you keep driving towards Ashoka Pillar, there are temple of electronic retail outlets, saree shops and marriage halls. Soon after all of these, CCD appears to the right side. Ambiance Is pretty good coz it has section for people site inside in the comfort of an A/C or else site outside in the open air. There is ample space inside for people to sit and chit-chat. Food The coffee at this place is quite popular but then food needs to be good coz it is something that is to be taken with coffee. They have a wide range of products like the other outlets. Chilly Cheese Toasts This is a toast that has cheese and chilli on top. It is warmed in microwave and given with ketchup. The taste is better when you take it with coffee. Veg Puff & Samosa The favourite snack time items which are available and pretty good at the Ashoka Pillar outlet. Drinks Food is something we take but the main reason I feel is the consistency of coffee that probably comes from Chikmanglur region. Some of the coffee I have tried at this outlet includes – Cappuccino. Café Latte & Café Mocha. Cappuccino is the pure coffee which is quite strong and less use of milk but foamier. There might be a need for adding more sugar as the coffee flavour just overpowers the experience which comes with the addition of sugar and more milk. Cafe Latte is a much lighter drink with similar ingredients as Cappuccino but then the amount of foam added is near to nothing. It’s for those who want coffee and don’t like the foamy effects. Café Mocha This is the coffee and chocolate based drink. The drink is also pretty well made coz the chocolate added inside the milk and coffee add so much more flavour. This happens to be one of my favourites here at this outlet. Overall Experience It’s always been good fun going to this outlet – ordering for coffee, getting food items and then enjoying the same with good ambiance. I enjoyed myself every time I go to the place. My current rating for this place is 3.5/5 as there isn’t much of faults I could see. My rating in other departments. Food – 3.5/5 Service – 3.5/5 Ambiance – 3.5/5 Drinks – 3.5/5 Food for 2 will cost anywhere between INR 300-700 depending on the items you order.

Filter Coffee was not Strong and was Tasteless.. Inspired if telling them to make it Strong, it was below the Mark. Very Dissatisfied
