A hidden gem in Bangalore. I’ve been in Bangalore for the past 10 days, and Udupi Ruchi has quickly become my go-to spot – I’ve visited 3-4 times already, and each visit has been a delight! Every dish and drink I’ve tried has been outstanding: fresh, flavorful, and perfectly authentic. The staff couldn’t be nicer – super friendly, especially with my child, making it a welcoming family hangout. The overall vibe is cozy and vibrant, with that perfect cafe energy that keeps you coming back. If you’re craving top-notch Udupi food in a relaxed setting, this is the place. Highly recommend – don’t miss it!

Recently visited this place for dinner and it was amazing experience. Food here was super delicious and pocket friendly. They have Udupi specialties in their menu. We tried Udupi delight Combo, Mango Rasayana Gudbud icecream, Upi puli dose, Neer Dose , burgosa, button idli, bisibela bhath and filter coffee. Highly recommended to visit this place.

New age restaurant serving classic South Indian food and Udupi specials like pathrode, rasayana and jackfruit gatti. A much needed one in HSR Layout. Clean and calm restaurant with good food and good staff. Try their dosa varieties. Chutnies are actually tasty compared to regular breakfast restaurants.

Today, I took my in-laws out for breakfast at “Cafe Udupi Ruchi,” located on 27th Main, HSR Layout. This was my first visit, and I chose the restaurant based on Google reviews. The restaurant is mid-sized with limited seating capacity. The interiors and decor are pleasant, but it operates on a self-service model. Here’s what we ordered along with our ratings: • Idli: 3.5/5 • Vada: 3.5/5 • Curd Vada: 3.5/5 • Masala Dosa: 3/5 • Ghee Pudi Idli: 2/5 • Tea: 4/5 • Filter Coffee: 3/5 Overall, the food was average, and the pricing felt a bit steep for some items. It didn’t quite live up to the hype.
