i’ve been here twice, the first time was when my bestfriend and i randomly stumbled upon this cafe on instagram and decided to give it a try. it was an amazing afternoon in a perfect tiny house that has been beautifully converted into a restaurant. the host was so warm, the food was incredible and authentic and my oh my the ambience was incredible. ever corner, ever wall of the place was thought out and was an expression of the owner’s ethos. the second time was for an event yesterday, and the host instantly remembered us from our last time there. they make you feel right at home and the owners are so down to earth. yesterday we pigged out, from ordering a lamb hummus bowl ( 10/10, delicious and refreshing) to saudi champagne (9/10, great accompaniment to the heavy meals), to maqlooba ( 10/10, very hearty) we loved everything 🤍 i have found some incredible crowd here who are so curious and open minded and the vibes are just so cozy. don’t think twice to try this place even if it’s a bit pricey.

The place is absolutely amazing whether the ambience or the food. We ordered the Saudi champagne, za'atar and cheese manakish and the hot mezze platter for 2. The food was worth the time and money it took and the wait staff was absolutely amazing. Just a tip - If you are really hungry this is not the place for you because this place is not a fast food joint. It's a beautiful mediterranean experience so give it the respect it deserves and you'll be rewarded. ❤️

Absolutely delicious food. Third time visiting here and it's always a treat. The music and ambience transports you to a different world. Must try.

I go here regularly and i absolutely love their food but the service staff needs to be trained to be nice to people that are coming to your restaurant. Today I called them to make a little change in the food I wanted because I’m not keeping well and get some muhammara instead of hummus in the hummus bowl but they said they can’t do that when they have done it before and also I’ve work in the service industry so I know it’s not that big of an ask. They said call the person who did that for you last time (SHE IS ON LEAVE) what do you mean? And the senior staff also refused to talk to me when I just wanted to understand why they can’t do it. Modestar is the only employee apart from the other male staff that’s there and the rest really need to learn to treat a customer well. This used to be my favourite place and I tell anyone and everyone about you guys and the food being amazing but I really don’t know anymore. They can’t even be nice to a sick regular customer. I’m so disappointed and hurt honestly.

food was very mediocre and the kibbeh was barely edible and tasted old. service was slow and the staff were lurking around our table uncomfortably; barely giving us privacy and space. the ambience was nice but is not worth sitting through the negatives. would not recommend or visit again.
